Well if you look at the recent data (it is a 10 year history) the unemployment rate speaked at mid-2003 (Pre-election statistics anyone?). The rate has been falling since.

Is that before or after many parts of the USA will just be a glowing nuclear memory?

To funny. Canada will never become part of the USA. Look at the economics of each country then rethink what you have said. If anything, the USA will soon be owned by China.. LMAO

Just remember what our dumb ass leaders are pushing for that is Canadian, American and Mexican. FTAA - Free Trade Association of the America's no border's between countries. Now this type of legislature has to get everybody angry and scared. Why governments would even consider looking at this, is becasue the government doesn't have the interests of the citizens anymore as all constitutions state, but they the government have the interests of the big business to please. We all need to get out of this shell and think what we can do to prepare ourselves for any massive take over of our natural right which is freedom. Just remember one thing, countries since the beginning of time went to war because of financial and personal gain for the few who actual control the scene. Just remember there is always someone else in the world who would like to see peace in the world and compromise to live peacefully with another person of a different race, religion. Just remember also it is only through mass propaganda that people are controlled and it is through this same propaganda that people are molded over centuries to think negatively towards a next individual. Simple tactic of divide and conquer. There thinking is why unite the world, when we could get rich off of other people's suffering. U ever wonder why they go after the weak minded people to join an army.
Truth is the only deciding factor to freedom

Dude, serving ur country and defending it is honourable and very tough - i give nuff respect to those who have served, american or canadian (or british etc). U shouldnt say those who serve are weak minded - sure in most cases u dont need top of the line book smarts, but u need other "street" smarts as I call it. Pulling the trigger against another human and taking a life, is very very hard mentallity, in the moment and after. It changes u and if cant deal with it, ur fucked for life. Those who deal with it everyday are TOUGH plain and simple. Also, combat tactics, map reading, navigating, assaulting...all these things take a tremendous amount of spirit, courage, honour and intelligence.

well .. the guy arrested in Canada wasn't exactly a hippy ...
Marc Emery
http://freemarc.blogspot.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_emery
Quote: | On July 29, 2005 Emery was arrested outside a local storefront in the Downtown of Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia, where he was attending a HempFest. That very same day Canadian police, acting on a request from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration raided the British Columbia Marijuana Party Bookstore and Headquarters in Vancouver, BC and arrested Marc Emery for extradition to the United States. Emery had been earlier been indicted by a secret U.S. federal grand jury in Washington State on charges of conspiracy to manufacture marijuana, distribute marijuana seeds and money laundering. These charges could land him a life in prison in the United States, if he is ordered to serve the terms consecutively. Canadian police have not laid charges in Canada. Emery is currently free on $50,000 bail and preparing to fight extradition in the courts. Avenues of defense available to Emery currently include alleging that the extradition request is primarily political in nature, or that he would suffer cruel and unusual punishment if sent to the United States to suffer penalties on the order of magnitude issued by the U.S. Federal Government for these charges. Emery may also argue that the primary offense for which extradition is sought (conspiracy to distribute marijuana seeds) is not currently considered an offense in Canada because the law is rarely enforced, though this may be a weak avenue as laws against viable marijuana seed sales remain on the books in Canada. If such findings were to be made by the Canadian courts, Emery could be declared not extraditable. |
