Recently when opening the gif thread I'm having problems with loading of the gifs. Most of them stop at 1 frame, or don't load at all. Anyone knows why is that happening?
I'm having the same issue at home with fastest internet and different specs.
Only addon on both browsers is adblock plus.

Some stop, while others start.. when you refresh the same, sometimes 1 works, other times 2-nd works..

I had the same thing the other day. Try resetting your zoom, that fixed it for me.

My Firefox doesn't play embedded vids in any page since a week ago. I give 0.0001 fucks to troubleshoot this.

If you install the beta version of chrome it works. They fixed the bug with animated gifs in the beta builds. The stable version of the beta should be released, as far as I can recall, sometime in january.
If you check your version number in the about section of chrome and you have 23.xxx your running the non-beta. if you have 24.xxx you have the beta and all should be good.

I hate chrome betas because if you ever want to switch back to stable version, often your synced data is not compatible..learned it the hard way
