Weed is not legal in amsterdam folks, the just don't put you in jail for it. Which means, you can use it, and sell it in the coffee houses, they don;t mind.
But you cant make it or import it or transport shitloads. So, yeah, bringing it on the plane is probably the shortest way to a nice conversation with a gentleman in a blue suit.
Btw, why don't you stay in an airport hotel? Even the Sheraton in Brussels is only 90 EUR/night. I know it looks expensive, but at least you don't lose days and nights and you have some comfort...

Hmm? I'm not staying long in Amsterdam (just half a day) so no need to stay in a hotel.
