The only cod route they took was CQC dlc (talking about mp gameplay here, because this is what bf3 is all about). If we have to suffer 1 cod map pack out of 5, it is fine by me. Aftermath, imo, is the best by far from all the stuff they released and it's very far from cod. At least there is variety here. You want some run and gun or big vehicle oriented combat or some combination of those, no problem. Cod is ALL about run and gun on tiny maps.
If the next bf4 will look like cod with tiny maps right of the bat with no choice of bigger ones, they will fail harder than MOH, simply because if you want cod style gameplay, nobody does it better than cod itself.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

the no comms thing, is just so disgracefull im not even gonna bother going into that (bf2 pchad comms and even bigger squads ...)
Thank god for the bf2 modding community for a true PC squad based multiplayer teamwork coop experience (realitymod :3 ) |
LMFAO what?
BF1942 had 2 paid expansion packs.
BF2 had 2 paid map packs. It was actually one of the first games to have paid DLC. Forgot that already?
I'm the first guy to hate DLC but I bought BF3 premium and it was worth every Indian cent, because there were some really really good maps.
Sorry, but I don't agree with your post at all (and I own every PC BF game to date), I think nostalgia is clouding your mind.

Anyone else on Win7 getting random crashes?
Sometimes I can play a whole round without any problems, and sometimes the game closes 10 seconds after joining.

Maybe (surely) I'm too naive but I think that there's still some hope, unless they want to shoot themselves in the feet -literally- .
With the DLCs released so far they've demonstrated that their #1 priority is to satisfy the largest number of people possible, from CoD fans (Close quarters pew pew) to BF2 veterans (B2K/Armored Kill and Aftermath too in some extent). I would be surprised if they will go full-retard with BF4 (never say never ) because it wouldn't make any sense, since BF3 has basically no direct competitors at the moment, excluding PS2, but that's a f2p game.

Man, this shit is getting annoying.
I played the game from October to April and barely encountered any BS.
These days, it's every other game has some suspicious shit going on.
There's one server in my region, and every time I play there, there's at least one motherfucker cheating in one way or another.
Fuck.

Toni likes his Killing Fields
I only have one server that I frequent, Formula.de; and the rest is pretty random I think
And usually we play around 20h GMT

I mostly hang around TKF cause it's all B2K goodness... plus a few butthurt noobs like yesterday ("Mojazio is cheating!1")
