Maybe because Samsung is not your traditional camera brand?
I suppose this wb750 is a good camera for the price, but dont expect the best performance once you get into low-light conditions and dont have a stand on you. With a max opening of F3.2 its going to push Iso levels up pretty early to have sharp images.

Or the Fujifilm FinePix S4200. It seems to be discounted EVERYWHERE here and included in bundles (with bag, tripod, high-speed SD cards and such), I doubt it won't be there either.
Superzooms are great, especially in low light conditions and for attempts at more professional looking photography. The only those I listed lack 1080p recording, and trust me, compared to what else these superzooms have to offer for those money, 1080p recording is nothing.

Any camera in price range of 150-200 will be major upgrade over your phone camera. Especially in low light conditions. I love Canon Ixus models, very nice looking and gets the job done nicely.

What are Your opinions on sx230 hs ?
it is a last year version of canon sx260 hs but it does it all and is cheap.
