Ok um everytime I download a apk or a zip or rar file to my new phone for example grabbing some game or app from various sites and mostly via a upload site they place the files I get the wrong file apparently downloaded. Totally different name even. Captcha was correct etc but never seem to get the file offered. Although can get it via pc..

Any ideas? Or maybe a browser suite or such that is infallible. . Was using chrome browser btw and before that the std Internet one on my sgs3..

Have you tried MyFiles to rename the download?
I have a North American S3 and don't have those problems
maybe it's the site, some sites attach the session key and it'll save the file as that.

Never had that issue happen at all for me downloading apks for my HP Touchpad CM9 mod..and I grab stuff from tons of sites. Try clearing cache and cookies.
@bloodangel - you should google galaxy ace root and it should point you to directions..normally you need to flash it with a rom to gain root access to do all that stuff.

You can "jailbreak" Android, it's called rooting, but you don't need it to install cracked apps. It's already explained in the other thread where BloodAngel asked this.
