The point to mod a console is to get one on a lower version. Microsoft comes out with fixes all the time to stop us from doing things they don't like. The only way I still have a PS3 with 3.55 on it for the past 4yrs, is because I didn't update it. Just a thought.

2.Playing Original games offline (again, not into online) will cause no probs to the piratey stuff in the console?..i know, dumb question but just making sure..

Nope, I do this all the time.

DV2 wrote:
3.I know i wont be able to play online with pirated games but...is it safe to play those games OFFLINE while the 360's connected to the internet?...if not, what should i do?.."Disable the WiFi connection from the console" ?.or just turn off the entire router?

Don't even connected the 360 at all. I know the 360 has the thing in it where it will only set the internal clock if connected and personally I think this part is bullshit. It really only causes a problem for save games and that they aren't stamped with the proper time. I've delt with this for years. I really hope M$ can make the next console get time on it's own like the Wii and PS3. They don't require an internet connection to get the time to update.

4.What's the best pirate method to do to play games from an external HDD?..there's this shop that they sell this "X360 Key" for 110€,but it seems it only loads from 2.5" HDDs ..what about 3.5" (??) or with Ext.HDD's like those Western Digital's My Book portables?..

I don't know about this as I burn all my games to disc. I still support the media market.

DV2 wrote:
5.I've heard there's this...RGH or something..what is it?..

RBH or Reboot Glitch Hack is the updated version of the old JTAG mod back in the day.
It requires a chip to be installed on the 360 to boot unsign code where the JTAG's did this all on their own without additional hardware. Anyone else can probably deal more information on this but this is all I know.

DV2 wrote:
6.Will i still be able to buy stuff from the Marketplace Legally (MSPoints ..) without any troubles from it detecting my console being modified?...

The basic rule applies and everyone has their own opinion about this. The way it's happened to me is I could always sign into live on a modded console and buy stuff but the instant I tried to boot a backup game I was instantly banned. It's been some time ago since I did this as I don't get on live at all anymore. The rules may have changed and someone else can always offer another suggestion but normally if your console is modded you need to stay the hell off live. Period.

Nothing revolutionary is coming from c4eva except for a new firmware

wrong , c4eva released burnermax tool which will increase capacity on many burners and the payload is deleverd in real time.(no firmware flashing). pretty impressing. for people who still burn discs and do not have ihas burner this is handy tool. it supports a lot of different burners.

Quick question for you guys, since I've been out of the loop since I've had my x360 glitched and I didn't keep up with what consoles/dashes are hackable: a friend of mine has a "Trinity" with the 2.0.13599.0 dashboard. He asks if updating the dashboard will block the possibility of doing the RGH in the future. Will it?

TX accomplished 1bl glitch, all future dashboads are hackable with this new dgx chip that glitches the first bootloader. but letting it rgh'ed on this dashboard will maybe be cheaper.

Guys, might be a stupid question and I couldn't get it googled properly. I have RGH and external HD with FSD 3. On my external HD there is a folder called "xbox360" with Data0000, Data0001 etc to Data0017. IS this downloaded art and such from FSD? Folder is approx 17GB in total.

Now, if it was FSD data I assumed I would find such a folder on HDD1 as well (for XBLA game etc) but none there. Can't remember I told FSD to store such data on my external (if it is from FSD). Reaon I ask is if it is safe to delete the content?

Thanks NFOAC. Horizon only sees my 2TB external as 16GB flash memory and can't find my games on the drive at all. Any other way to check what the folder contains? Is it safe to delete the folder then - wont screw up anything in FSD or any other JTAG program or so?

One folder up from the one that has all the DataXXX files there sould be one other file, with a seemingly random alphanumeric name. Drag that onto Horizon to see what the gid container is.

Just copy any of the file from USB to PC and then drag to Horizon

Team Xecuter found an new hack, it is supposedly give instant boots.. it for fat xbox only
It seems that they are now trying to get it to work on the non hdmi xbox360. all other models with hdmi already work,( Zephyr ,Falcon, Jasper.)

I think it has something to do with the old jtag hack maybe they found an way to re enable boot of that old vurnerable jtag kernel.

Quote:

Xecuter has a new hardware based hack for homebrew. So far we are booting Xell on Zephyr, Falcon, Jasper pretty much instantly. All dashboard versions - in fact it is required to update to the latest version anyway

No freezing. No messing about. No headaches. No shit.

It's a totally new approach. It is no longer RGH or RGH2...more will be revealed, but those that have a clue will be impressed

We have four dead Xenons and have condemned them all to the impossi-reball graveyard.

We need a a few solid working Xenon's that haven't had an RROD repair. Not just the board, the entire unit.

They will not be returned but if we use your Xenon to perfect this method for Xenons too - then your name will be enshrined in geek heaven. Plus we'll send a bunch of free shit to compensate

FYI the hack isn't final yet, but we are extremely close (months and months of work have gone into it). Results so far have been spectacular and we are very happy with it

Only good working Xenons required. Let me know if you can supply and where you are in the world so I can arrange a shipping point for you.

Do not reply to this if it is anything other than being able to supply a Xenon.

Thank you.

The new dashboard versions have already been cracked by the Xecuter DGX chip.. its released for slims but not yet for fats but it will be soon. and on fats RGH2 is annoying for Falcons and Zephyr's so if they have an new hack that works more stable.. I want to hear about it hope they release it fast. Very Happy

Well they did not stole the DGX chip they invented it themselfes.. its based on reset glitch hack.. but no one else has come up with extracting cpu key from new dashboards only Team Xecuter did So they deserve credit for this.. ,GliGli creater of RGH 1.0 did not continue his hack.. he is one 1 hit and run hacker.

just wanted to update on my progress with playing xbox 1 games.

looks like i'm fubar since my 360 is a 4gig slim and you apparently need an internal HDD before the fixer will format the drive.

bah...

ok, it has been a long time since i got around to messing with my slim 4GB and internal HDD but i finally got it inside and now i want to install the files in order to play xbox 1 games but was unsuccessful and could use a little help.

i used this tutorial:
http://www.xbox360iso.com/tutorial-fastest-way-t558886.html

it recommends using xexmenu so i did that... don't have a usb flashdrive handy so i just transferred the files to my external where i keep everything else and just copy and paste from there.

my first problem was that after running the HDD fixer it creates HDDX as an empty partition with nothing in it while HDD1 seems to be what the guide lists with folders that are supposed to be overwritten according to step 3.

so in order to be sure i c+p the necessary files to both HDD1 and HDDX.

now 2 things come to mind:
if i supposedly didn't screw up, how do i check if the thing is actually working from either FSD or xexmenu?

where am i supposed to put the games on my external? i've only tried with a scene release in iso format but couldn't get it detected on the xbox where i just put it in a folder named XBOX1 in the root of my external HDD.
also, for some reason i can't even open the file(check the contents) as with regular iso's on my PC so maybe it's corrupted(or maybe that's just how it is)... i'll try to get my hands on another game.

thx for any help.

now that you mention it i did make the new XBOX1 folder without creating a path for it in FSD(assumed it would automatically be recognized).

so assuming the game is recognized do i just start it up like everything else via game selection for original xbox games or should i do it in xexmenu?

I seem to have a cover duplication issue with the games in FSD3. It seems all my games have at least 2 duplicate entries. Even after the games are deleted from the internal hard drive, they still show up in the Games list. I have tried 'Clear Data' and it didn't work. I had to manually select the game and delete it from the cover flow grid. This is really annoying. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
