assuming you all remember galaga,i'll start from here:

there was a game similar to galaga but insted of flies as the enemy,there were owls and each time you killed one,he used to make sound like short twittering.

Maybe Phoenix or Revenge of the Phoenix. I can't remember sounds but I know you fought some space birds. I always sucked at horizontal/vertical shooters, Moon Cresta was my favorite.

it is very close to phoenix,but you coul'd realy tell that you fight owls lol..phoenix birds are more like bats:)

thanks pey,but no..it is not the one:(

i remember the owls flying in formation and doing some cyrcling movements and when ever you killed one he used to twittering like birds use to lol (sounds abit like owl twite).
it is hard to recal.


EDIT:
i just played phoenix using mame,and it maybe phoenix after all,it acts like what i am looking for apart the funny twits:)
