Me too. They even have tools for save game problems with all that encrypted/decrypted shit so you can use your old saves after patching.

OK I've updated to 1.4 Reloaded and now I have no save game according to the menu screen. Erm how the hell do I get it to load my save game ? I'm hours into this and I can't be bothered doing all that again...

There is a hexediting mumbo jumbo that fixes it, but if you don't wanna mess with that, just copy back the 1.03 crack. (if you were on 1.03 that is)

Dafuq, installed the game again, got the 1.04 patch plus crack and now the games keep saving all the fucking time, tried to quit to main menu and resume the game, boom freeze, couldn't fucking kill the process and had to restart Mad

If this wasn't Ubisoft, I'd actually consider buying this. The whole savegame crap with the cracks is really annoying though but even if I bought the game, I'd want a crack since I refuse to use Uplay so I'd get screwed anyway.

You refuse to use uplay why exactly? The achievements get you in-game rewards and your saves are uploaded to the cloud.

People go to such stupid ways to "boycott" companies Laughing

I got too much crap installed already and since, if you were reading, I said I boycott Ubisoft, I'd be installing bit for a single game. Not that hard to figure out, I'm sure. And why I boycott them? Been living under a rock have you?

It seems I have. The only complaint about Ubi has been about DRM, which they removed from every single game.

Also Laughing at "I won't be installing another application", those 150 megabytes will sure make your (probably ) 750+GB drive sweat Laughing

Actually, Uplay is much less annoying than Origin and Steam when it comes to starting it and the games up.

It's all the same imo. I rather have all my games on Steam, but I have no problems with Origin ot Uplay.

At least here Far Cry 3 takes as about the same time to load the main menu (with uplayshit online) than it takes for steam to start up, let alone to load any steam game Laughing

What i like about uplay is that it is really light. Not bloated like Origin and Steam. Obviously that's the only thing i like about it. I much prefer Steam Razz

I got a free key for Assassins Creed 3 with my new GTX680. Upon registering the key I found out I had to install uPlay to install the game. I've already got Steam (which I like) and Origin (which I hate) on my system. I really do not want another delivery client on my system.

I also don't want to have to pay extra for "insurance" in case my system goes down and I have to install the game again. This is bollox as neither Steam or Origin charge for additional downloads of already purchased games. So on that note I said a big fuk you to uPlay and installed the cracked version.

Erm I read it when I was about to install the key that if I wanted to redownload the game at another time I'd have to take out their insurance to be able to do so. Not bullshit Neon so pull your head out of your arse....

First world problems. Really. Laughing It's like it's taking tons of time and effort to download/install a program which will subsequently make the count of your installed programs from 60 to 61, for instance. Laughing

I find Uplay to be a decent client. I slightly and blindly tossed it away as reliable in the past, but not anymore. I've grown to accept it as something good which has great navigation properties and handles your download preferences and saves with ease.

This is not connected to the Uplay client, but to the DigitalRiver downloads provided on their main product site. The downloading limit in Uplay is indefinite.

If you bought the game on uPlay, it stays on your account forever and you just need to click "download", it is there forever.

Source: I bought most of the Ubisoft games released, including all AC games.

This game is via an nVidia promotion card that's available when purchasing a new GPU: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-msi-gtx-680-28nm-pcie-30-(x16)-6008mhz-gddr5-gpu-1006mhz-boost-1058mhz-cores-1536-plusfree-ac3-g (my card)

I was noted when installing the key that I would need to take out their insurance for future downloads. Maybe it's different for games obtained via promotions ? Even so I'd not install yet another client on my system just to play their game(s), I'd pirate it first. I'm happy with Steam on my system and the only reason I have Origin is for Battlefield 3 otherwise I'd not install that either.

Never heard of an SSD drive I take it? It quickly fills up with crap like that - especially since only one game would be needing it.

And if you're one of those spineless gits who will go crawling back to a company after they tried to anally rape you, go ahead. They made a big mistake, fucked up big time and because of that, they are on my permanent boycott list (along with Apple and a few other companies like Activision). Laugh all you want, but those crooks won't see a dime from me.

I assume Valve is on your list as well because of how horrible Half-Life 2 launch went and how horrible Steam was? So not only Valve, but their platform Steam should be on your "boycott" list as well Laughing
