Only the account registration/key addition is region restricted. Once you create an account you can play on any servers you like, AFAIK.

According to a few posts here: http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/15exyz/amazon_guild_wars_2_2999_1225_only/

Where did you buy it from? How did you circumvent the activation?
CSAvaritia 9 hours ago
You can just use a fake US address (like some of the buyers).
The code Amazon gives you is a international one, you just need to plug it in when you are making your account on the GW2 website.
When you finish, you can look at Authorized Networks, which should have your current location under it.
Tl;dr: Fake your address if you are not from the US, everything else is normal after that. Register, plug in code, download and play.

Thanks, but I meant more because of the people in this thread saying that you had to activate the account by logging in from America.
Essentially, I'm asking about a region lock on it.

Red Orchestra 2 good?
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

It is - it's a matter of taste. I've had some of my best mp experience ever in RO2.

...and I had ones of the worst. The game was buggy as hell, promised mods never came, promised vehicles never came, mechanics were like from the '90 ties, environment is very very very very static, the game had horrible issues with hit detection etc..
Honestly I would say test it before buying. Free weekends are pretty often and the game is on the sale every now and then.
I'm still playing Killing Floor for more than 450h so it's not up to any 'mainstream bullshit'.

Still too much... Maybe if it was £2? Though it does use Origin, so...

Apparently it's 6,44€ in Italy BEFORE the 30% discount. Why do I have to pay more than Italians? They can go fuck themselves.
(GMG, not the Italians, althought if they let Berlusconi back to power, they can go fuck themselves too)
