I'm looking for a program that fills in the gaps between the frames in the 24FPS videos, making it smoother. I had it once but I can't remember the name.

Yeah, LG has that live stuff embedded in their TV's now :\

cant you turn that off? its the first thing i do when i install home cinema systems for anyone.

48p or the like are not the same as bad frame interpolation

Most if not all manufactures have such a function in some of their TV lines, though, in at least most cases, optional.
In fact most features of televisions "should" be turned off. Razz

Personally I really dislike the effect, it makes everything look "cheap" (unless I'm missing some interesting settings/setups). Not to mention the one implemented in my folks' Sammy "Smart" tv, that one is even worse. Though I have to say, football matches and sports in general kinda benefit from this feature since the result ain't that bad. Razz

Dunno, I don't have it on my old LCD at home, but when watching HD movies it looks not that bad I guess...
