I really wanted to try it during these holidays but then I saw my huge backlog (again) and had to delay everything. Razz
The problem is, at least for me, I can't just start yet another playthrough and play it in "casual mode"..it's either full-immersion or nothing. xD

Hehehe, I'm holding off for a while longer as well - also backlog & still trying to get a grip on python, and I have this sneaky suspiscion that if I boot up Skyrim there won't be time left for studying (or the gf! lol) until late Febuary/March. And that'll make me a sad, lonely, panda again Razz

There are several, CDPR gave permission to use their assets in Skyrim as long as they were credited, later on the TERA developers also gave permission albeit I find them to look rather plastic. Very Happy

Meh, just like with Morrowind, the best mods are overshadowed by a huge amount of crappy/useless mods. It's great that the TES games are easy to mod, but every moron with a PC thinks he's an advanced modder Sad Modding Morrowind took me hours and hours of reading and setting shit up Crying or Very sad

Anyone have a good ENB with DOF enabled that doesn't impact performance too much?
I play on a OC'd 2500k with a 560Ti, was using sharpshooter's enb before but it doesn't seem to work anymore after going to win8, and most of the ones i've tried so far hit my fps too much to my liking, drops to 35'ish is a bit too much for my taste, i'd like to keep the drops to 40-45fps at the lowest :/

I'm tempted to reinstall Skyrim just for mods, since I only played through once and kept it vanilla, but damn there are so many. I think I'll spend more time researching and testing mods than actually playing Smile.

First priorities will be texture enhancements and one of the ENBs, I guess.

Questions though: is there a generally accepted version that I should patch up to for ideal mod compatibility? I know with Grand Theft Auto IV, it seemed like a lot of mods favored one of the older patches rather than the newest. Or is it ok for me to update it to the newest? And are the patches cumulative?

Any good starter mods for this game to add new armor/weapons/items and other content? I've played about half of the content already but got gifted this for Christmas so I'll probably start again (assuming I didn't keep my saves).

Did anyone make an item that made magic weapons not have charge? That mechanic annoys the shit out of me!
