They can shove it, if they are not going to put any effort in the script and delivery of the script. Can't be bothered to give a damn if stupid written characters do stupid stuff, just so that some action or event happens.
And yes, it actually makes me mad, because I love zombie themed movies/shows and this one started off SOOOO great! The same thing with misfits. First season was perfect, then they started with some fuck ups in season 2, season 3 was pretty bad and season 4 is like a bad american tv show that tries to be rude and shocking.

Same feeling as Pumpy here, felt first few eps were great, and normally I really enjoy zombie shows/movies, but few episodes into season 2 and I stopped watching due to extreme boredom.

TWD S3 is absolutely killer.. yer a complete jack-arse if you miss it.. its only getting better.
AND *NO* they cannot entirely follow what goes on in the Comics because if they truly made TWD 1:1 with the Comics the TV variant would be BEYOND BANNED as the Comic is absolutely fcuking brutal and raw.. They wouldn't allow that sh*t anywhere close to the Networks. Be lucky what AMC is able to produce as its the closest to Zombie Apocalypse brutality as we'll get unless if it were made in someone's basement where no one pushes back.
