Perectly happy with Walking Dead getting GOTY. "Gameplay wasn't that good" argument really doesn't matter for me... since it's an adventure game. Like old point&clicks, only evolved, with deep, insanely meaningfull choices taking place of usual puzzles and stuff (even though there are a few puzzles in TWD). Sure, most of the time you just talk, watch scenes and walk around, taking part in an ocassional QTE... but in the context of the genre the gameplay feels quite fine to me. I loved the game, just as I loved Heavy Rain on my PS3. The only other title that provided me with this much fun this year was X-Com: Enemy Unknown. With Max Payne 3 being a strong runner-up to both of them, though.

Definitely. 
If you ask me, there's also Kingdoms of Amalur, Risen 2, Torchlight II, Avernum, Inquisitor, Game of Thrones..but the typical console audience isn't aware of them. 
ME3 might be a decent game (not for me), but should be in the shooter category. (not that I care heh )
