Anyone gone from the Reloaded-release to bought? I just wanna make sure there are zero issues with using my saves Smile No that there should be, but you never know.

Aren't the saves encrypted or something? I also want to buy it, but I doubt the saves will work.

Is there only one bow in the game?

yep saves are encrypted bound to Uplay profile

It was like this in games before the whole derpification era started, what does that have to do with WoW?

I kinda miss serious tone of FC2 in this one. Also environmental variability. But gameplay is gold and it is what counts.
Btw. runs smooth on C2D/6870. Not like AC3 Smile

In the days of 2012, I only have WoW in mind, that I know you are playing, that have bosses with 36K HP.

I only remember bosses with 36K HP in FPS in the Doom series and Wolfenstein 3D Very Happy I think in Quake 1 & 2 too, but they were definitely much easier than Wolf3D & Doom.

Even Half Life 1 bosses were a joke.

All this to say : as you said, these days it's all about derpification, and yet you expected to have a boss à la Wolf3D in Far Cry 3 ? Really ?

Looks like the SweetFX is working after all (only in dx9 for me, though):

Default

Sharpened

It's a subtle but nice improvement, imo. Razz

Is there a way to make sweetFX to work with DX11?

I think I wanna replay the game and it would be nice with sweetFX
I did use the sweetFX tool but all I got was black screen.

Not that I know of, sadly. I'm using the v1.3 and with dx11 I get the black screen as well, every single time. DX9 are working just fine though, so in the end it's an easy choice for me. Smile

Hmm, since i use FXAA inject/SweetFX on almost every game, this was one of the few that i didn't think needed any improvement on the coloring Neutral

Yeah i agree.. this type of environment should have very saturated and healthy green colors, it's actually how it looks. There's a reason why there's so much vegetation; the soil has a lot of nutrients and is healthy, healthy plants are very green.. A lack of N (Nitrogen) will make plants pale, or lack of sun.

I really don't understand why some people like games to look so desatured. I can't stand them, at least not anymore. I want some fucking colors in my games. And I can't be anything but happy that these injectors exist.

It doesn't look that bad to me, it's similar to the color filters in Far Cry 1 or well the "Paradise" high saturation one and the "Cold" low saturation one. Smile

Albeit here there's a bit more control about what settings you can alter.

Its not 1.02. You patched it to 1.02 then replaced the exe with the old 1.01 basically doing.. nothing.

The Reloaded crack does not replace the .exe. He should have 1.02; the patch changes are insignificant though, it doesn't really matter in SP.

I think that the game doesn't need any "boost" colour-wise since the default look is perfect, so for me the sharpening effect is all I need. Very Happy

Try to copy all the files into the FarCry 3, bin and data_win32 folders Smile (I'm using the v1.3)

Well, that's a weird fix. Neutral Putting the files in one of those locations meant either a crash or it just didn't work. Putting them in all of those locations worked. Thanks!

Haha np, I discovered it by chance trying all the possible combinations until it magically worked Laughing . Next step is finding the the way to make it work under dx11. *impossibru*
