Syco, she was just giving out the wrong advice on the workings of a PC. All totally wrong of course. HHD's with IP's  .

ever see those infomericials with that old guy that will teach u how to become a "professional" computer operator? the basic starter cd's show u how to minimize, resize, drag window, cut & paste, open "special" directories (My computer lmao) - preform "diagnostic operations" - a simple program comes on the CD that does it for u with the click of a button, like Norton WinDoctor.
His "Advanced" collection includes gems like "operating DOS like a pro" - using the list commands, navigating dirs, internet stuff like netstat and ipconfig. Umm what else...oh, he demonstrates how to be "cool" and customize ur start menu bar (hiding, moving, changing various attributes), how to install or use "complicated programs downloaded off the internet" - he explains what programs u need to use extract rar,zip, mp3's, "special jpg programs where u can actually manipulate individual pixels!!!" lol etc
Anyway, my point is this guy is a fuckin joke and I watch his infomericial from time to time when its updated just to crack up at how some ppl actually PAY for that shit...I mean, today's computers, in terms of opening Internet Explorer and searching for information, isnt complicated and very user friendly...retarded
