Any unpakers/packers released? I'd like to remove the menu background video and fix the player camera, because right now its unplayable to me.

Most people are idiots. They need this feature or they won't notice it at all. If you played WoW before all those questhelper addons were around, you know what I mean. Same question over and over again.
Derp: "hey, where do I get that item for quest x?"
Someone: "read the quest description."
D: "ok"

D: "where's east? left or right?"

Is this worth $35? With 30% off on GMG you get it for that.. I've paid no attention to this game until just about today. Been watching some gameplay-clips on YT and it looks like fun..

I'd say it is optimized pretty well. Getting good FPS for almost all super awesome settings.
However, very derpy. Visuals are also not more impressive than past FC/Crysis.....
(gameplay is derped too)

Oh wow... I thought to check out the multiplayer too, just so I know how it is. Here's my experience with it: join a quick match, the game starts, I choose a class I run around a little, I revive some guy, I get stabbed from behind, I respawn and run around a bit again, after which I start to commit suicide because... well, I have no idea. Maybe it was something with that type of match. Whatever, I quit and try to join another match. Surprise, I get into a lobby and the match won't start. Seriously, the multiplayer is just bad in this, mostly because of how retarded the matchmaking is. I don't know, maybe the actual matches can be fun, but good look getting into one.

For me it's one of the most entertaining games of the year  . It's slightly consolized but provides a great sandbox experience without all the problems that plagued FC2, plus there are tons of interesting additions like mini-games, side-missions, loot/skill-system and dynamic wildlife. The story and characters are pretty good, too. |

if anyone else lost there saved games use this have tested and it works
"You need this directory to exist. *:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\0c7ddfbe-d92d-4270-8cf9-3493a81f0c2d\46. Then copy the data from *:\ProgramData\Orbit\46. Volia. Your saves have returned."

That's why I was hoping the GMG version was redeemable through Steam. I understand that the game still launches through UPlay, but I want all my bought games in my Steam library.. I like it that way.

The fact that the game is sold on Steam, doesn't mean that everyone else will be selling Steam keys. This is, for the most part, only true for Steamworks games, which work exclusively with Steam and use cloud sync, have achievements and all that other fancy stuff. In this case, you are not actually buying games for Steam - you are buying a game that happens to only work on Steam 
Games can also be sold on Steam just because it's another (albeit the most popular) digital distributor, they don't have to be integrated with it in any significant manner - this is actually true for most games, or at least it used to be.
Ubisoft and Origin have their own digital services, so the keys for their games are normally for those services, unless available directly from Steam.
For a 3rd party, selling Steam keys for games like that doesn't make much sense, since they would be, in a sense, providing a service for Steam, who are at the same time providing a service to the original publisher - going through the middle-man is what it is

Sorry for the late reply, I was sorting out some stuff.
The situation here is a bit tricky from what I understand, since GMG's codes are for Uplay-only as far as I know. The game is available on Steam for purchase as well, but (like MinderMast explained) it's not steamworks and also doesn't have steam features like achievements, cloud, etc.
In order to have the ability to add it to your Steam account, you have to buy it from Steam. |

Tried, that didn't work. I'm running this in Windows 8 too. First time I've seen this issues as Borderlands 2 runs at that resolution with no issues. |

when I alt-tab out it goes windowed but I can just alt-enter to go back to fullscreen.
I'm on windows 8 as well.

Now, if it's in Windowed mode, I see the whole border, but if I change it to full screen, I just see the top bar. I even existed out of the game and relaunched but the full screen mode did not stick. I'm hoping it's a glitch after I tried it for a couple of hours last night and then powered down my PC. But I'm wondering if it's my 5770 Radeon. I'm thinking of getting a 7000-series at XMas.
