Also, special items like that have a glint of sorts (like sniper scopes in BF3 ) if you look at the area with the camera from further away. You can then "take a picture" which will mark the spot on the map. I use this quite often, but the problem is - the glint won't disappear once you get the items, so you can make repeat visits without finding anything
Personally, I try to explore without the maps initially, and buy them after my preliminary explorations are over
My biggest issue with the game right now is that I have a lots of skill points, but the skills I actually want are still locked, and that I keep filling up my wallet without having anything valuable to purchase |
Once you do a story mission, you unlock 26 new skills, so that will solve your problem

I hate all the...(big spoilers ahead)
Spoiler: |
....psychedelic shit you go through when you kill Vaas. I mean, i was looking forward to a proper knife fight, or man-to-man visceral gun fight, or some high-risk assassination, and all i got was Vaas owning Jason for the fourth time (three times captured + one knife stuck in Jason's chest), and then, Jason somehow winning the fight through some LSD-induced hippie bullshit. That has to be the most anticlimactic bossfight of the year. What a huge fucking letdown.

Also, the answer to all the hunting issues : tigers, bears, etc. is the Bull signature shotgun. It kills everything in 1 shot in the face, point blank.

The co-op campaign is actually really, really good as well. Better than BF3's co-op for example, because this is a proper storyline. In fact, it's much closer to how L4D works; missions are meant to be played in sequence. Additionally, you get a fair bit of diversity: from assaulting a camp, ambushing convoys to defending something and then there's these sort of minigames in which you play against each other. Getting the most kills and such.
Very well done

It's shocking to me that people have good things to say about this game. It feels like a mash-up of a bunch of mechanics from other, more entertaining efforts.
Whatever.

How elucidating. Do you have anything to actually say? Because I'm interested in hearing opinions. I've put about 10 hours into this game based on all the praise it's gotten, but I just don't see the appeal. Willing to hear some thoughts from people that can form sentences.
