I get better performance on the village (that has more NPC's but might be a bit less demanding lighting-wise) than on the starting scene at the camp, dafuq?
I'll probably wait a few months for drivers/patches before seriously trying this.
But I'll have to say this, running it on ultra (just for the lulz) it never went below the 30fps mark so far on dx11 and it's 100% stutter free as far as I could tell, much better than in assassins shit 3.
Unfortunately it feels too woobly for me at that framerate and yeah, mouse accel is off.

Fuck, just when I need their crappy forum. I can't get past the intro since it crashes. I'll just wait.

Hmm, it ran great on first load - but it has since been running kinda strangely. I suspect some of the visual settings don't really apply until a restart.
I'm on a 2600k with a 670 Nvidia - and it's not quite smooth. It's sorta jittery and stuttery - with or without vsync. This is on ultra settings.

I want a 3rd person camera in vehicles mod, make it a little JC2ish, immersion ≠ fun.

I've located lots of different animals already: chickens, pigs, dogs (two types), comodo dragons, deers, boars (the first time I encountered a boar, I received a whole load of Gothic vibes ). No crocs, though. Spent some 10 minutes on and off a river bank just to have the pleasure of spotting one, but to no avail.

Q6600 @3.3, GTX 550Ti
Never goes below 45 FPS for me on 1600x900, DX9, Medium settings, Medium textures.
The only thing i put on low is the PostFX since i can't even notice what it does but it seems to take like 5-6 FPS from performance, im using FXAA from nvidia control panel for AA and it looks great.
Good enough for me. Better than Assassins Shit 3 ran, thats for sure.

Can someone playing the cracked release upload a save right after the escape for me? I'm getting sick of the goddam intro now.

Yeah I tried that. I'm thinking reloaded might have cracked the old dll since the patch replaces the dll too. So I might be replacing the old dll with the crack.

Have you examined the crash error via Event Viewer?
Running as admin, compatibility options, trying different graphics settings just to get past that point?

Anyone have a problem with downright slideshow during the loading. My fps is like 1 and the sound skips every second. If i exit to the menu screen, same thing there, it takes a second to register the mouse movement. Once I finally got into the game, it was all smooth, but then I died and again 1 fps during loading, and when I finally got rescued from the water, and the loading screen appeared, it again went to 1 fps and skippy sound, I just couldn't take it anymore.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

The fist time I stole a boat, I jumped it off of a waterfall and ran over a shark right after I landed.
Then I planted c4 on the boat and ran it up onto shore to kill a bunch of pirates. At that moment, I realized that I was playing JC2 but with a much better story (and that's saying a lot).
Of course, this game is more immersive and I'm having a blast hunting down animals like the dirty, godless, little creatures they are. DIEEEEEEE YOU DIRTY LITTLE KOMODO DRAGONS!!!!!!!

edit: As a sidenote, I don't have any issues whatsoever with my main rig (i7 975x@4.0GHz, 12GB RAM, Tri-SLI 580s with dual velociraptors), but my laptop (i7 2630QM, 8GB RAM, 460M, Seagate Hybrid drives) has a few issues (microstuttering isn't one of them though, not since the 1.01 patch). Running isodemo here (for now).

Did you apply the patch before you copied the crack or did you do it afterward?
