- alt + f4 is not working
- pressing esc key doesnt bring up menu, how fcking hard was that to develop
- where are quick save/load keys, ffs
- where is the config.exe
- beamdog.net is not working, multi only via tcp ip, no server browser
- where are language voice packs
- why they didnt even bother to make easy button-import your own portraits?
- the style of new portraits doesnt even match the original ones, they look more like icwd art, that painting like, not semi realistic like bg1-2 portraits
- why the fuck icons are so blurry
- why font in items description and other places looks like shit
- why the fuck i cant change stuff like buffor, cache, fps, resolution, transparency stuff, pathfinding etc etc

Gods, you can be such a whiny sometimes.
- Q/L
- Everything can be changed in baldur.ini
- Voice packs will be added later. Polish one by cdp themselves after it stops being a beamdog exclusive.
- Portrait import is broken, will be fixed.
The interface is blurry though, and I see no options to change it's resolution. It seems to be stuck in 800X600, even if the main window is not.
And the movies? It was known for a damned long time they'll be replaced wuth those still animations. The originals were 640X480 and, well, VERY cheap looking. Blizzard quality cinematics they weren't.
What I absolutely love is the new journal. The rest is pretty much the same.

yea, make enhanced edition - throw away stuff that was in the game in the 1st place, screw up the rest. fuck that bullshit moneygrabbing, its pathetic.

There's quite a few reviews out at the moment, they seem to echo a similar feeling :
- The work done is good but while there's 20$ of value in BGEE, gamers who already own the previous games won't get 20$ out of it. For them, the value is probably closer to 10-15$.
- Taking this into account, they love what has been improved but wish there had been just a little more to increase the value of buying BGEE for gamers who already own the original game.
- People should not expect a brand new game. That's not what it is.
- The new content is good, many of the small changes are very appreciated. The game finds a way to stay true to the original but avoid changing what should be left alone.
- If you already own BG1&2, it may not be worth spending 20$ right away on BGEE, but with the improved mod support/improvements coming through patches it may be worth to buy the game in the future. It should become the new default version to use for fans of the series, but it's not a bad idea to wait until it matures a little bit. There's no rush.
The reviews are overall very positive and its mainly a case of "Is it worth 20$ for fans of the series?". The 20$ comes from 10$ for BG (its current value) and 10$ for EE, but for someone who already owns BG, is it worth paying the full 20$?
That'll depend on who you ask and future updates for the game. For some, not at all. For others, it's not a bad price.
(For me, I'll wait a while.)
The sales were good, so continued development is guaranteed.

Yeah, he certainly "created" this great game - didn't he..... 14 years old with 400 bug fixes and it's still buggy?

I had to turn off all overlay programs to finally get it to properly load. ie: afterburner, fraps, etc.
PC Specs: A Maganavox' Odyssey
Tweaked to play Frogger, Lemmings & GTA4

Yeah it's incredibly basic.
This is how the game looks in 1080p (windowed otherwise I couldn't take screens)
It's pretty ugly and stretched ..

well they couldnt really bump up the gfx itself, but the look of UI is ugly, just look at the original bg1 screens with that sharp stone ui and crisp icons, the ones from BGEE look blury as fuck. nonetheless, i still feel that urge to play bg1, and i dont really have time to download all the files and mods, setting everything up etc etc.
