damn, i was afraid this was going to be another ac3, but it's running perfectly well on my rig. 1080, dx11, everything on ultra, SMAA off.
never goes below 30fps.. so far.

Good, that means my 6780 should be able to handle it aswell. I dont need SMAA.

Download
Decompress
Use the virtual drive loading installing,
Use steam006 free DVD into the game
play
German language package is included
a) German language files downloading / unzipping
b) Copy the following files in the folder Relevant
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ sound_german.fat
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ sound_german.dat
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ worlds \ multi common \ multicommon_german. Dat
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ worlds \ multi common \ multicommon_german. Fat
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ worlds \ fc3_main \ fc3_main_german.fat
FarCry 3 \ data_win32 \ worlds \ fc3_main \ fc3_main_german.dat
c) Open Regedit and to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Ubisoft/Farcry3"
(32/64bit: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Ubisoft \ F arcry3")
And go change the following entries (SKU from RUS to EN):

Yup this is confirmed guys, works perfectly English everywhere! Game looks and runs great, im running it on high no problems on DX9, it even suggests i can run it on higher settings, but im happy with High even. Tried everything on medium and that even looks really good TBH.
Just happy this is not another AC3 lol.

Have anyone tried this and gotten english audio, not just english subs? |
