Copied the files medtioned and changed the language in registry. Still not playable because all audio is in russian. |
I did the same thing and got the game working in all English!
This is what i did:
Extract the 103 MB language rar file into: \worlds\fc3_main
Extract the much smaller 156 byte language rar file into: \data_win32
Then go into regedit and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Ubisoft/Farcry3 and modify these lines:
SKU entry line says RUS, change that to US
Language entry line says Russian, change it to English
Play game and i got first cutscene with the guy and his douche friends talking English with English text! |

Sorry if it was mentionned before in the thread but are respawning enemies and checkpoints are still in the game ? Because those were fucking retarded in FC 2 and made me quit the game. Malaria was annoying too
I absolutely loved the first game so if it's more in that mold then i will be happy.

But it's HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Ubisoft\Farcry3 for me anyway 
This game runs like shit,but at least it's in english.
Gotta try 1920x1200. :/ |
