Ezio and Altair were actually cool characters to play (if not just for the awesome names, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who doesn't want to be called that) , just because they stood for justice and were actually wise and cunning . This guy is like the old guy says, a naieve asshole. He only cares about his people, and he only makes stuff worse cause he's impulsively killing everyone he doesn't like. He doesn't know 1 bit about the assassin heritage or code, and he doesn't even care. He just wants to kill people. You're playing an asshole, plain and simple. |
It's not the dialog its the delivery. Although the writing is nothing to write home about:P, it would be much more bearable if it was actually acted out with some conviction

Trading is pretty much useless. Crafting too for that matter unless you want to unlock all weapons , items and the rest of the stuff but other than the weapons there is no real point to it.
I finished the game without trading or crafting anything. Didn't even buy new weapons until i was 3/4 done and that's mostly because i realised that there was nothing worth saving your $$$ over so i bought a few weapons only to try them and see if there was new animations ect. It's very possible to complete the game quite easily with teh base weapons and no side missions done at all (homestead , liberations ect). Although the assasins recruits can come in handy once in a while to distract enemies.
Don't have time now but i'm gonna write a min i reviews of the game later on.

sooo, DLC crack works with Skidrow version just fine, but not with RLD's bullshit proper. once again RLD made a shitty pointless proper that doesn't even function properly, and people still hate skidrow?

is there a single proven case of skidrow stealing crack? i know they stolen game content once or twice, but crack was their own. so please where is proof of skidrow stealing cracks? the only time it got close was AC2 skidrow crack, and after that i didn't see a single proven case of skidrow crack stealings like everyone here claims.
PS. tip for kids here: just because skidrow rls doesn't come out few hours after p2p is not proof that crack was stolen.

I just uninstalled this due to unacceptable performance, FPS would fluctuate from 20-60 seemingly at random. Shame since the game was pretty interesting.

There has been proof on a number of occasions, tho i cannot recall wich and where to find the evidence right now. But they defo stole a few cracks and claimed as their own.

I have always 60FPS on Boston ,all settings @ normal.
I use 560TI and Cpu: I5 2500K @ 3,30GHz.

For those with decent GPUs, it's only the Environment Quality that you need to lower to get proper performance. This will raise the GPU usage and increase FPS. Seems like there is some kind of a bottleneck with this.
The difference between High and Normal is only in the distance for higher LOD. Very High adds some fancy stuff.

Considering how inconsistent performance is in this game, it is really hard to tell how much GPU power it actually needs. If you GPU load is near 100% it's doubtful you will get any improvement just from this setting alone.
In any case it's worth a try... takes only a few seconds to change the setting and see the results |
All my testing was with everything on low---er, "normal"
It's my CPU, has to be.
Doesn't make the game, the developer and ubishit look less pathetic for zero optimization.
