I'm still excited/hopeful for this game.

Again, being disappointed with a game doesn't mean that a person will necessarily hate it.

If you think Uncharted 2 doesn't have proper gameplay, you probably didn't play the game.

If you think I would even want to do that, you'd be wrong. Not this shit with "you haven't played it, so you can't know how it is" again...

Oh OK, you can of course perfectly judge a game by watching vids.
If this game will be like Uncharted 2, it'll be great.

I actually can. Sometimes I'm wrong, but those times are the ones when the game turns out to be worse than it looked in the videos.

I've never played Uncharted, but this Tomb Raider, in its actual state, doesn't sound like a Tomb-Raider game at all. Perhaps it will be entertaining anyway, but that's a real shame.
Also I don't understand their decision of not showing gameplay videos with platforming/puzzles, which are the essence of these games..I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this one.

Exactly, opinions, yet one can't have his/her own around here sometimes, it seems.

Nice the fact that the series future depends of this game's success...

Thing is, Tomb Raider was also a relatively niche game. The sales were never series strong point. The character became iconic because of a number of factors, but never had the sales that Eidos wanted.
If Tomb Raider 1-3 sold relatively well, starting with Last Revelation the sales went down, just to hit rock bottom with the sixth game (the infamous Angel of Darkness - not a bad game, but tons of bugs and poorly executed ideas).
So Eidos decides to take the game from its original developers (Core Design) and give it to Crystal Dynamic. Sales are at a good level again, fans seems to be happy. Still no megasales wanted by Eidos, though. Four games later, Eidos is no more and Crystal Dynamics belongs to Square Enix. And SE decides to go along with Eidos original idea of rebooting the series. In the light of the recent trailers, it looks like TR might end-up in the same spot as Angel of Darkness, derped just like Hitman Absolution.
And Square is in trouble right now. It needs big sales. They took a gamble with both Hitman and TR, but so far is yet to be seen if those gambles would pay off.
The only stuff that actually brought money was Deus Ex:Human Revolution and the truely underdog of the year: Sleeping Dogs. And Square is more likely to let go Eidos old IP's and studios, rather than give up on their beloved IP's (despite the fact that the late Final Fantasy were money pits that led them in red).
