Framerate is pretty erratic or irregular or how to describe it, one moment (Vsync disabled.) it runs at over 70 FPS and then you turn a bit and framerate falls below 50 to say nothing about how odd the performance can get in the two city environments.
Tried overclocking the CPU a bit but I didn't see any real gains so I reverted back to the previous stable speed after some testing.

Near the end now, did most of the sidequests, except feathers and almanac pages.
What i liked :
- large world, lots of stuff to do and explore
- naval missions - if Ubi ever makes a 17th - 18th century ship-of-the-line sim, i'm gonna buy it
- Kidd treasure hunt missions
- Desmond missions were a nice diversion.
What i did not like :
- the setting, i'm really not into American history; maybe many people find it interesting and exciting, but i don't;
- the cities are so generic and repetitive, they are nowhere near the greatness and beauty of Jerusalem, Firenze, Venice, Rome or Constantinople
- Connor - it's not his self-righteousness that bothers me, it's that he's such a flat and boring character, i really didn't feel in any way interested or connected to him;
- the story could have been much better with Haytham as the main character; that's my preference, of course, many people probably still like the main story as it is.

Well E8500 here i clocked to 3.4 + HD6790 and it still slutters like a motherfucking bitch even on normal with vsync off. I'm quite sure its not from lack of video power

Love the "I have no performance issues" posts, without any mentions of settings, resolution, framerate details, etc etc etc
BTW it's not that I don't absolutely believe you since the game seems to be just too inconsistent between different and similar setups, old and new, fast and slow, GPU>CPU, CPU>GPU, etc
All in all a true piece of great coding on the PC platform, ubishit's reward for it's loyal PC fans

6790 is like GTX460 or GTX550ti, so i'm not sure.
I also have my Gigabyte GTX 670 with stock overclock and additionally manually overclocked to +100 core and +400 memory~
Still, the game should be much more optimized.
Toni, i will measure tomorrow, if you want it. The idea is i have no stutters or drops ~

Well it should be enough for stable 30fps on Normal... Lower resolution gains jack shit as well.

The author of that video says: "I am at Boston and I get 25-50 FPS"
Amazing!!!!111 I'm thinking it doesn't help at all.

Yeah, he shows the area in the beginning as an example... but it always ran fine for me, so it looks like he fixed something else entirely. At least I am not seeing anything in the ini that would do it.

The top line of the .ini is changed from [Graphics_DX11] to [Graphics]. Does that mean it uses a lower DX version?
