A comprehensive list you can work from: http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/movie-pages/movie_fantasy.php

Tried watching Excalibur about a year ago, and i'm the guy who don't mind bad effects and such. But holy shit that movie is terrible.

Fair on you, but my advice to others is = Watch Excalibur NOW, its really good in its genre - a dark and serious one even. I have nostalgia clouding me I am sure, but for me its like loving rpgs, only just now play Baldurs gate and lament it for being old.

Rise of the Guardians 6/10 - although the kid loved it
Savages 8/10 - despite Blake Lively
Wreck-it Ralph 5/10 - 5 is for featured retro games otherwise it's 0/10

Metacritics gave it 73/100 and you gave it 0/100. Somehow I think ill trust Metacritics in this case Wink I never trust people who give 11/10 or 0/10 when it comes to rating anything.

Skyfall 8/10. A great movie.
The scene with the heli was really well done.

I liked it very much because of the different locations.
The evil guy was a psycho, probably because they have tortured him for five months and just went crazy.

Somebody here said that the is the ultimave evil, but I do not agree with that.
He was for me more a funny guy and sometimes I felt sorry for him, but as I said he was a psycho.

Well he gave it 5/10. If it wasn't featuring retro games it would be a completely different movie.

Yeah I know - but still, using ratings as 0/10 or 11/10 (hell, even 10/10) is abit...well..meh Razz

Thats my boy - 2/10

Terrible in every way... not even remotely funny. And Adam Sandler is shitty enough as an actor, and the stupid voice and accent doesn't help either. He is fucking trash imo...

Cloud Atlas

My most anticipated movie of the year. I really really wanted it to be a 11/10(!) movie but I am simply unable to rate it right now. It is flawed but there's greatness in it as well. I believe I had different expectations, and got something else. Basically I thought the character connections through the generations/stories would be stronger and also/to give a simple example couples that couldn't end up together in one story would end up in a future one, giving them a happy ending.

But to pinpoint how everyone was connected was apparently not what the movie wanted to do, it was more like how 1) there are always the strong taking advantage of the weak (didn't really expect it) and 2) we are afraid of the different (nope, didn't expect this at all) and 3) how our actions can shape the future (that WAS what I expected the movie to be about), and also of course since the concept of reusing the same actors for different stories does not exist in the book (the concept of actors is not compatible with a book in the first place!), the "couples (aka actors) eventually getting together" thing was not (always) possible either (although they did attempt it).

So is it a 7/10 movie? 8/10? 9/10?! I really don't know. I'll have to watch it again and I pray that the Wachowskis (and Tykwer of course) record a commentary for the home media release (unlikely..?) Smile

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

End Of Watch 9/10 Might have been 8/10, but I really liked the main cast. Some stuff was a bit unrealistic and thus didnt really fit with the style it tried to be.

just no. fuck that movie was dumb. it shoulda been great, because it had some great actors in it, but it was just so dumb and everyone was stupid... one of the main characters, during a chase sequence, even forgets which eye to use when trying to sight along his pistol. kinda says it all, really... it was low budget and it felt low budget, and it was dumb as shit to boot Sad

Lens Flare: the Mov-- er, I mean Total Recall 2012 - 4/10

Totally boring, totally predictable, totally useless, etc.
The only thing that I'll remember from this movie is Beckinsale's fine ass at the very beginning and spending the rest of the movie hoping from one similar scene with Biel's ass too.

i thought his flaming bad guy was really good... he was creepy as fuck. the only thing i didnt like, is that there was no real time spent building him up. he felt kinda.... insubstantial... and as for nto playing the same role again that he did in NCFOM, well... hes already done it, so id rather see something new. which i did. and fuck he was so much creepier, and actually more fun to watch because of his flamboyance.
