Except that it does ask you. You get a dialog and you can delay reboot for 4 hours.
Maybe they started to ask after some update... that i didn't do
Cause im pretty sure the reason i turned the windows update off was cause windows decided to reboot in the middle of a BF3 match
Finished the game, loved it. I had a great time and I'm going to replay alot of the missions for sure. Can't wait for the next hitman. Still dislike the disguise system and instinct, but it's a good game nevertheless.
I installed Skidrow version. I have windows 7 x64 and a monster of a machine...but Hitman won't run. I can see the splash screen but when I click "play"...the game crashes.
What am I doing wrong? Do I really have to install Steam in order for the game to work?

I sure hope it gets better later on. First level sucked balls, but looking at Youtube videos it's meant to suck, telling you to go for headshots if you do need to shoot

I'm in the same exact condition as you, the next mission is slightly better but still not Hitman-ish in my opinion. Too many compromises and changes in gameplay to make it more "cinematic" (not to mention the AI that pisses me off immensely)...but I've read that it gets better later on, let's hope so.
The mental trick is, try to think it as a spin-off instead of a proper sequel. It gets more enjoyable

Can't be done even on the "tutorial" even with +150% (purist) and +60% (challenges) as of now... I hope they change that.
