Annoying. Whiny. Girl. Who has a bomb fetish.

If I want one of them, I'll have a baby with my girlfriend, and read her The Anarchists Cookbook at bedtime.

I just finished this game (Class: Siren).

Definitely one of the top games in 2013. A fantastic ride (and not of the "on-rails" kind precisely). After having played the first Borderlands just one month before playing this one I can say it's a very noticeable improvement over the original. For starters, so much more content, and quality content while we're at it. At some specific times I got bored while playing BL1, that never happened once with BL2.

- Gameplay is about as great as ever but more refined. Shooting feels so good and feels so refreshing at these times filled with generic first-person shooters that all feel the same. Like I mentioned before, I loved the phaselock a lot more than the phasewalk in BL1. I loved the revamp of the quest log/inventory/skill systems.

- I already mentioned it a few days ago, the game is so well designed, it motivates you to complete every secondary quest avaialble. I have just the last 2 rounds of the Hyperion Arena and the level 50 impossible quest left. Games centered around looting are not my thing at all (not that this game is one of those) but the loot in this game is very rewarding and especially useful for the most part. I only regret the vending machines weren't as good as in BL1.

- I really enjoyed the story, silly at times but very humourous. Great, funny characters that deliver entertaining dialogues/monologues. An outstanding villain that makes you really hate him. I thought the well-placed references to the first game, and the inclusion of the original vault hunters in the story was a great plus! My favourite character: Handsome Jack. (back in BL1 it was General Knoxx).

Well, to wrap it up, I'm starting today with a 0-100 rating system rather than the usual 0-10 (with decimals). I give this game a well-deserved:

90/100

Looking forward to a sequel in a few years Very Happy

All in all I would agree (havent finished it yet), especially well done is the humor (even the resurrection is fun) and the way how all the characters from Borderlands 1 were included in the storytelling. Nevertheless I think the game itself is sometimes monotonous and repetitive (when you play it for a too long time). Well, that lies in the playing mechanics of an action-RPG/shooter-hybrid obviously.
But the main story is indeed pretty long, compared to the "typical" singleplayer campaign of any CoD-clone. And sometimes the sidequests do give really good rewards. The different gun (and shield) types make sense figuring out whats the best against what type of enemy and I like that there are now really fast-shooting sniper rifles.

Steam updating.

Also I'm finding it quite fun so far, though I just started out but it looks like it could be quite good.

At least there will be fixed budhha.dll and won't need to patch it to import win8fix.

Funny/sad thing is, that there's isn't fixed buddha.dll in that update Very Happy Though you can use buddha.dll from some other release (Like Sleeping Dogs 1.7 update)

No, it doesn't. But after I used this buddha.dll (I believe it's from Sleeping Dogs v 1.7) it works just fine again. Smile

That's another option, yes. But I don't know much about winderlands8.dll, so I'm happy to use their fixed buddha.dll from another release. I just tried dlls from BLOPS2 Update 2 and Hitman Absolution, but neither of them worked. So I'm curious why only Sleeping Dogs' dll works with it.

Im trying to purchase the Torgue DLC but it does not let me. Every time gives me this error:
Your transaction failed because you are trying to buy a game that requires ownership of another game you do not currently own. Please correct the error and try again.
I can clearly understand what that error means but why does it give me when i clearly have Borderlands 2 in my games library. There were no issues when i purchased Scarlett's Booty DLC. Any ideas?
