True, but without motion blur + bloom, with AA and AF it runs like a dream.

Yep my definate winner for crappies game of the year GOTTA be Driv3r, no doubt.

My opinions of the shittiest games

Prison Tycoon - they could have made that a sick game with more interactivity between the user and the guards + better graphics

Close Quarters Combat - simply sucked

Driver 3 - everyone knows why

Area 51 - utter shit

and prolly alot more i cant think of

oh yeah

Cold Fear - Could have been good, but the camera angles and saving locations fuckin pissed me off beyond belief

Area 51 wasn't shit (its 1 of a few games ive completed this year) it certainly wasn't great but I think thats mostly due to the limitations of producing a multi-platform game.

for me its dungeon lords too. crappiest and most boring action rpg ever !

i never saw a rpg thats so empty and liveless its not even funny no npcs no furniture and they use 1! tileset for the overworld in the whole game this and the many not working or not implemented features and the myriads of bugs killed this game for me , i really hope d.w. bradley and the publishers burn in hell for it.well ok if they go bankrupt it would be punishment enough.

I've been forced to uninstall Area51 because i couldn't jump (and some game sequences like the electric fields NEEDED jump to be completed)

I checked Midway games support page and they recognized that this problem

exist . They promise a patch but nothing up to now : again a bitch editor !

Haha. Yeah those titles scream quality

I agree to some degree with those that didnt like HL2, DOOM3 and GTA:SA. As for GTA:SA, when the only real change (except scenery and some cars) is that you can actually aim manually then my opinion is that its just pure crap. HL2 tried to have a story but ended up being just another graphic/havok-show off. DOOM3 tries to be HL2 without the story, i played it for a couple of hours and then realized what utter crap it is.

And yeah i know HL2 and DOOM3 are from last year but at least they're within the one-year-space. Almost

somewhat agreee javlar, but what makes a good game isnt its changes, its how it purely IS.

And GTA SA and HL2 (and Doom 3 in my opinion, since i didnt expect anything more than a run-n-shoot-purty-graphics), ARE good games, may not be revolutionary, but we arent discussing which game had the most changes, just which are the crappiest, and those games surely arent crappy.

You might have a point there... But you have to keep in mind that games are about the fun factor, and like doom for an example has a very nice graphic engine with huge potential in the future but the game itself on the other hand is... well bad.

I have to say Guild Wars because when you have played thru half the game you realize that its just repeating its self-... no fun (great graphics though for a mmorpg)
