Fun game indeed. If you buy this on the game website instead of steem you get a 2nd giftable copy for free(and both can be redeemed on steam). great deal for 10 bucks if you ask me.

Game has alot of potential, and already is quite fun to play=)

There’s still time left to get two copies of Don’t Starve for only $8.99! Plus, if you use our snazzy humble widget below, you’ll get two copies of the Chrome and Steam versions of the game.

I take it that this sale is over already?

yep, It seems its still beta, even though it doesn't feel like beta at all. its a complete game that will get even more features.

Just did my first life. survived for 5 days. that lasted 50 mins.

i explored maybe 25% of the randomly generated world. Even less.

I guess I could say its diablo meets minecraft. you will have to learn how to sustain food sources once you deplete the islands food so the game continually requires that you adapt.

I didn't even know how to hunt yet. I only ate carrots and berries. I managed to kill 2 bunnies who were sleeping without worry near my firepit Sad
I felt bad for choping of their heads but their meat saved me Laughing

otherwise all animals were able to outrun me or in case of bees, chase me away. after 3 days my health regened only 30% after one attack of the bees.

then i died while being too cocky and staying in the dark too long. you die if you are in darkness for a second or so.

really fun game. the sound effects are also awesome. graphics are really good for an indie. It also helps that I nevwer played terraria or minecraft or anytihng similar.

Theres also a sort of leveling system. i was lvl 1 when i died.

theres a ton I don't even know about yet. its quite a complex game. gonna play some more.

the game is good with fresh ideas, but the game is very dependent on resources, no rest except the night, when you realize you're always missing some material to build Smile, and they really have made a ton of items to build. I survived for 6 days and died from bird because i forgot to put armor. Anyway 7\10 for new fresh ideas.

I love how the game has a counter in the main menu telling you the new update arrival date.

5 more days till they add more stuff and fix exploits So Much Win
