when the game was released, sprint was only a level 14 or something ability. We didnt had it before either. Its not a big deal really (in comparison to the other crap limitations, that is).

That reminds me, I played till the level 15 cap during a 1 week free trial I had received a while back. Would that character still be available on my account?

Your character should still be there, older sub characters still are so I see no reason why they'd have deleted a trial character.

Yeah, it should be there, but if you didn't buy the game and made more than 2 characters, then I think you'll have to chose which ones will be active.

Yeah trial chars should be there. The whole point was to lure people in to subs, so they should carry over fine.
As to the reduced XP, yeah I think I commented a few pages back about it. The game was already a total grindfest by the time you hit the late 20s, when story to side-quest content ratio starts to dry up. By reducing XP they have no doubt skewed it to be extremely difficult to actually complete a class story without subbing. I'm pretty sure that's going to backfire on them, especially in combination with all the other shitty limitations they have put in place.

Just finished logging in, looking around for a bit, witnessing a "GW2 is shit and this is awesome, pay 15$ you cheap fuck" conversation in the chat, then proceeded to logout, shift delete the game folder and canceling my account for good.
No way i´m gonna return to this gimped out version of the game with the added bonus of an even more obnoxious community.

I could perhaps get over anything else they have restricted, but reducing XP gain? Hahaha, no way I'll try this game again. It felt grindy enough year ago, as I only wanted to do story mission quest after another without need to do any of the filler quests. But I couldn't do that even as a subscriber.
