End of Watch (2012) 9/10 - Excellent movie! Two LAPD cops being documented in south central. Great action, script, and acting. Highly recommended.

Argo 7/10

Competent movie with good performances. However, I thought it was somewhat sterile and dry. Just not that interesting, really - and I found all 6 "canadian guests" rather forgettable as characters.

Total Recall 4/10.

Apart from the great atmosphere it was just bad. The original was way better.

The Dictator 9/10

What a masterpiece. SBC really delivered with this one (after the abysmal Brüno and mediocre Borat). Its well done visually and delivers a strong message while always being funny.

And this is a great speech :

its funny, because its true.

The speech from The GREAT Dictator is 100 times better imo! Wink

Edit: While I'm at it...here's another great speech from a great movie!

for its time, yes. Chaplins dictator is a 10/10 for me.Chaplins speech is about what democracy should be. Cohen's speech is about what it really is.

The Expendables 2 --- 6.5/10

It was entertaining and watchable, nothing spectacular but neither was it a fetid turd grinhurt It was fun seeing most of the major action stars all hamming it up together, blowing shit up and cracking wise all over the place -- just a shame about the really dodgy CGI, which was always blatantly fake, I guess they blew their budget on the actors Very Happy

there's one line said by the punisher which i couldn't understand. early in the beginning. really bothered me. had to rewind like 10 times then i gave up and didn't finish it. Laughing but action looked awesome. almost as awesome as rambo. love the over-the-top brutal action in some action movies.

Looper 6.5/10

It lacked a lot, was often slow or off-paced and simply didn't find it particularly intriguing. IMHO obviously.
