Bash all you want for the extra thread.

Just a Heads up for those been using the PAL release.

You will need to delete the profiles you started with the PAL release as they are read as damaged profiles.

PAL release has been nuked on various places for being BETA.

From HEre On My Xbox NTSC Will Not Work With The PAL release via SystemLink.

I Have one xbox running PAL and another xbox running NTSC and it will not link up via system link. So how much more proof is needed?

PAL i can play anyone via KIA.

When Using NTSC version I cannot Play ANyone Via System Link.

So roll all you want on the floor laughing.

God damnit people,
first off make sure your modchip are using a decent bios. Xecuter, iND or EvoX is te only ones to choose between. Choose carefully because they depend on xbox version and modchip flash size.

After that get an app called "Enigma Videomode SwitchDisc". This little baby allows you to switch between PAL and NTSC on your xbox, make sure your TV can handle both and you will be fine.
Lets say your xbox are NTSC, well fine pop in the disc, follow instructions, reboot and bam you now have a PAL xbox. Insert PAL game, play the game.

Note, the Allstars release is not beta, only the .xbe is in debug mode. Nothing else is different...

Maybe my Bios need to be updated but as this day GR2:SS is the only game that doesnt work on my mod XBOX...i can play PAL and NTSC without changing anything. Both release of GR2:SS doesnt work on my Xbox, both give me the same error message but the game itself work cause i tested it on my friend soft mod Xbox.

I would just like to say, that many people with the retail copy of this game still gets the Red X error. I burned the Allstar release twice and both time i got the same error. So i decided to put into my stock HD and now it works fine.

For those of you getting the Red X try this.

as soon as the game starts to load remove the controller or controllers.
wait until the movie starts, plug in controller create your profile, and from now on the game should boot normal with the controller in.

This issue has been noted and the above is a UBI workaround.

and the reason a pal version cant connect to a retail version is because the pal is beta, best bet is to go with the retail and soon enough everyone will be using this. so u wont miss out.

its not a bios problem, this is a software error on the games part.

So before anyone else burns off another copy, fiddles around with settings. removes this and that. try the controller option.

good luck

I am glad i could help out m8.

how ubi are gonna fix this is beyond me, its not like they cant patch it.
guess they better do a recall?

on ghost recon 2 sometimes you could skip the intro and sometime u can't guess there is a coding error on summit strike to do with this.
