Same weapon reloading animations that were first used in COD4, same graphics, even worse I'd say.
The campaign is miserable, full of cliches and this game screams for an AMERIKA FUCK YEAH track in the background.
I can recommend some medication for those of you who have actually invested money in this.

The voice performances in this game
The animations in this game
The LOD changes in this game
How did they manage to make this worse than BLOPS1?
And I was hoping for a fairly decent/fun campaign.

Bah, graphics may not be the best on the market but the deep solid gameplay makes up for everything.

I managed 20 minutes before I turned it off. I normally don't mind CoD games, yeah they're mindless and the equivalent of a terrible action film but well, this has whole new levels.
When they rolled out the line, after about 2 minutes of 'He's the worst terrorist since Osma' (in the games timescale that would make 9/11 24 years before) I almost gave up then but figured I'd at least fire a gun. Turns out you don't need to on the first mission; apparently the machete will work for everything (except the helicopter minigame).
And now, I shall uninstall.

So basically, the campaign is a more explosive Frontlines: Fuel of War.

Frontlines was actually less scripted than our typical COD game, at least it didn't have follow!! markers everywhere

This was boasting about Strike Missions and choices, but the I only witnessed somewhere around three major choices and 4 strike missions.
What's sad however, is that it had more choices than DA2.
Also, the game gave me a major Frontlines flashback. The way the choppers were modeled, the whole drone backbone...I don't know, man, it is better than MW2/3 or BO1, but it was still disappointing to some extent.

I think this new game is actually a lot better than MW2, BO1 or MW3. Played through the single player campaign and they actually made some significant changes this time around. You can customize your loadout before every mission, most if not all missions have certain moments where how you complete objectives actually affect how the story continues.
You can kill certain characters if you play well enough but if you don't they come back later and change the outcome a little. There is also additional challenges and unlockables for every mission. The only thing making this game inferior to the original Modern Warfare is the pacing.
The story seems interesting enough and the villain is great but the change of place and time and character gets so confusing at times its hard to concentrate on whats going on. Oh and there are these "Strike Force"-missions where you control a whole group of infantry, drones, turrets and what not but the AI is miserable in those and they are completely optional but I believe they might affect the outcome of the story some how.
I haven't played multi player yet because my cheap retail copy is still on its way through mail. But I would give the game a solid 8/10 when it comes to CoD, the singleplayer alone gives some hope that maybe they have understood that the series needs some serious additions and changes to feel fresh and new, this is not completely fresh and new but at least it's a change for the better.
