Meanwhile, there's another reason why there are three lead characters: GTA V is too geographically immense for a lone protagonist to explore. This is the largest environment Rockstar has built, big enough – as many previews have pointed out already – to contain the last two GTA titles as well the publisher's vast Western adventure Red Dead Redemption.
Importantly, the whole map is open from the start. Players can take a chopper and fly out over the hills, parachuting down onto the peak of Mount Chiliad. They can jet-ski, mountain bike, play golf, exercise. They don't have to, they just can.

Had a great experience with RDR on 360, i doubt this will be a let down, the engine is hopefully even better now (already extremely impressive in RDR).

Although for R*'s sake I hope the PS3 version isn't as fucked as RDR is on the PS3. I don't know if GTA4 was the same, but I'm told that RDR looks way, way better on the 360; RDR actually looks really fucking aweful on the PS3, not to mention the retarded loading times and still having performance issues. That game got about as much attention on the PS3 as GTA4 did on the PC, next to nothing.

meh I had it on both and yes, both gta and rdr ran better on xbox, but they both equally looked bad, lol/// So yea, they looked better on the xbox

I saw RDR on the same TV on PS3 and 360, and it didn't look all that different. A little sharper but nothing special.

All true, sadly Sad I've got it on both 360 and PS3... and the PS3 version is significantly inferior in every way.

The main reason is that I can't enjoy playing action games/shooters with a gamepad Sad (except for Assassin's Creed -which plays itself- and platforms in general).

Also there's the fact that basically all the stuff that I'm interested in is out for PC as well, since I don't like fighting games/jRPGs. The only games that I really would like to play are RDR and MGS4 (and maybe Uncharted too, but I'm not sure). I can survive Razz

And there's a dignity to preserve! Cool Face

Didn't play MP3, it's also not open world so it would be hard to compare to something like GTA.
