It's the time of the year I dread.... Christmas... It costs me thousands and i usually don't get anything back... But what can u do.. I wanted to get some ideas of what you are getting people and it might give ideas to other people.

So what are you asking for? What are u getting people around u?

For myself I'm buying a new computer since this one is 6 years old.

Gf Nobis jacket (its usually around a grand but I know the whole seller so it's half off)

Mom: used ipad 2

Ex: moose knuckles jacket (same deal as nobis)

Ex's fam: 400 dollar corporate gift basket for the family.

You seriously keep buying stuff for your ex? why the fuck do you do that?

And over to me: I'm almost broke too, but i can scrape together some money to buy, but i never know what Sad I love christmas, but i hate choosing gifts for others and for myself. I don't really need anything, but you know how families are with christmas. So i just have to figure out what to buy :/

Lol l never been married no kids either.... Meh I just feel bad for her for some reasons and her family liked me... Sort of complicated... I don't even talk to her though cause it's too messed up. Don't see her either nor will I even give the gifts in person. Just mail.

Buying expensive gifts is stupid but they are only things I know they like.

I rather not get or give a gift and escape to Cuba for the holidays. But I can't and I'm not rich and all these gifts really put me in a hole for a while but I rather those around me be happy. Probably gonna skip the computer till next year now they I'm looking at my bills and taxes and school costs. This commercialization of Christmas is such bs.

@MAD_MAX333:

So you listed half a dozen reasons not to buy gifts, but you still do it? Hell, even worse. You refuse gifts for yourself Surprised

Well I don't want gifts cause I don't need anything... Stuff I NEED in my life like my tuition and car payments and stuff are not gift material. Other toys I would want are too pricy to ever tell people.

Besides I'm too shy and hate getting gifts or attention be given to me (I don't even tell people my birthday or remind em, another ex broke up with me cause I didn't tell her and she found out the day of cause a buddy came up to congratulate me lol) and i definitely don't want people spending their money on me.

But my gifts do make em happy and is stuff they would like for sure and will use all the time so that's good I guess. I like seeing people happy cause of something I did but don't like anything in return.

Anyway u bastard are suppose to give ideas for gifts and such... Wtf ur suppose to be Europeans and have the white people traditions... U don't have to be dumb like me and spend too much but small gifts or choc or dinner stuff?

Everyone just buys a lot of booze and we get wasted even more than usual. That's as close to a gift I will come. Nobody around here has money for proper gifts.
