It's the time of the year I dread.... Christmas... It costs me thousands and i usually don't get anything back... But what can u do.. I wanted to get some ideas of what you are getting people and it might give ideas to other people.
So what are you asking for? What are u getting people around u?
For myself I'm buying a new computer since this one is 6 years old.
Gf Nobis jacket (its usually around a grand but I know the whole seller so it's half off)
Mom: used ipad 2
Ex: moose knuckles jacket (same deal as nobis)
Ex's fam: 400 dollar corporate gift basket for the family.
I hate life![/list]

Lol l never been married no kids either.... Meh I just feel bad for her for some reasons and her family liked me... Sort of complicated... I don't even talk to her though cause it's too messed up. Don't see her either nor will I even give the gifts in person. Just mail.
Buying expensive gifts is stupid but they are only things I know they like.
I rather not get or give a gift and escape to Cuba for the holidays. But I can't and I'm not rich and all these gifts really put me in a hole for a while but I rather those around me be happy. Probably gonna skip the computer till next year now they I'm looking at my bills and taxes and school costs. This commercialization of Christmas is such bs.

Personal gifts mean much more imo. But if you have money and like to spend it then go with it ^^
I know one expensive stuff I'd like to have: Lego technic sports car ^^ It costs around 130€ xD
When I'll get a real and steady job I'm so buying that for me I'll even wrap it for myself and act all srprised!

Everyone just buys a lot of booze and we get wasted even more than usual. That's as close to a gift I will come. Nobody around here has money for proper gifts.

Was never fan of the technic line but Omg I saw Lego X fighter at a store it was only 80 bux but I can't afford it. But I did spend a good 5 minutes playing with it with the kids there... In full uniform... Parents were staring... I'm so buying that or the Lego death star omg that be such a good Christmas gift mmmmm |
In full uniform? Are you a cop? |
Yeah, you didn't know that?
@Max: I saw Tie fighter that I'd like to have, and X wing also. They are around 50€ but that is also sth I'd like to get.
Lego ftw ^^
