if you get spam mails for games (fakes), it means your email is on a spam list. They simply try the emails on pretty much every game (mmo's mostly) that has a potential monetary reward for them (selling gold, etc) and once they get a result, they'll spam you about that game with those forged emails, that try to trick you into entering your login information on a spoofed site.

Yea, i know.. i generaly dont open emails i am not expecting.. and when i do i never trust anexed stuff or links in it..
When i am asked to do something i usualy go to the main page.. login there and if thats important i get prompted with it to fill..
When it comes to computer safety my paranoid lvls are extreme.. xD

Well, I'm playing again well over a week now and I have to admit they did some good stuff with it so far. Most importantly, I'm actually getting good drops for once. I've found more legendaries and set pieces in this one week than I've found in the months before I stopped playing. Even found IK boots for my barb with a pretty acceptable roll and a value of about 40 million. I'm currently farming Act2 Normal MP10 for Leoric's Signet though. That stupid level 14 legendary ring is worth 20+ million depending on it's experience percentage roll. A perfect 30% nets you 70+ million and it's one of those items you can farm for because of the level range can be limited to several locations in Act2. Found two so far, one with 26% bonus XP which I kept for the moment and another one with 24% XP which I sold for 35 million. All these paragon level 100 rushers are shoving out tons of money for this because it's perfect along the Hellfire Ring from he Infernal Machine mechanic. On Inferno, yeah, good items are dropping for me now. But I'm obviously doing Alkaizer runs only on MP0 (Higher MP should give even better results). Oh and Inferno got nerfed hard. No need to use real money to be able farm it efficiently anymore. That's a absolute plus imho.

why people like to attack Diablo 3 and people that actually enjoy it?
I noticed when it comes to a game from the series they like ( RE6 for example that got medicores reviews),they defended it as much as they can.
before anyone call me "fanboy", I won't deny Diablo 3 has it's flews: Overpriced, Technically(The online thing) lack of Mod tolls and the current lack of PVP,but that's pretty much that(yea I know some people hate the changes from Diablo 2 but they are fixing it),but it's still not fail of the Year,it's still has great,addictive gameplay,and great classes.
it's not by mean "Shit game",and I can bet most people saying that didn't even bother to play it at all

The people that created this game shouldve been instant fired, as this game is all about what blizzard is (normally) not. They´re destryoing their reputation with this piece of garbage, and it seems they dont even care and keep on making patches that are a slap in the face of every pc gamer.

I just wonder where all this hate for Diablo 3 comes from.
I played it through once with wizard, then played a bit of next difficulty (nightmare i think) and started to play coop with a friend with a new character but never finished. Think I played the game at least over 30 hours and enjoyed it very much.
I did not expect it to be game of the century so I was satisifed. It is a Diabolo. I played Part 1 and 2 for about the same ammount of time.
It might not be the best game ever, but still is a very good game. It will be patched and worked on for years from now. From how many games can you say that?
This year I only played Starcraft 2 (about 500 hours as always lol), Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2 more so for me Diablo 3 is among the best games of the year.

@ Jack + noby: obviously neither of you got to Nightmare, or did so long after release, or did so on a ranged class. And the lack of PvP is a big deal, even though it may not be to you, it's something they said would be in and it's part of what kept D2 alive for so long for a lot of people. The game has great production values, but that's it, the fucked up balance is actually gamebreaking once you get to the true endgame.

I'm disappointed that there is no PVP as well(I wanted to try it at least),but I do believe them when they said they wanted to improve it,one of their main flews with the game is with no mod tools,so we can have our own PVP,until they fix it.

And the fact that they still didnt deliver the features they advertised with.
Sick of companies who promise stuff but it takes years to be finally included... fuck that crap.
For better experiences just install Torchlight 2

You are wrong sir, I played it and finished it in all difficulties. So I know what I'm talking about.
But you are right about something : I hate the changes with Diablo 2.

Sadly enough, I just couldn't get into it. I got to something like act2 and called it quits. If I'm going to waste time on playing games I'm going to play something good. Not to say that d3 was bad, but it just fell short for me.
Maybe with duels and pvp I would be more inclined to play again some day, but for now, I need to work on my backlog.

I forced myself because of friends playing it and just didn't want to be a pain with them.
I mean, in 2012, I still play Diablo 2 once in a while. Diablo 3 ? I don't want to touch that shit ever again.
Finally you need to finish the game 3 times to actually FINISH the game, finishing the game in normal is like what.. 5h ? or so with my friends. The game at first in normal mode was fine, the problem was in later difficulties, as stated above by 2 different persons. And by thousands of people in this thread.
To me this game is none better than WoW, it's all about farming farming farming. No skill is really needed. Torchlight 2 is much better IMO, no wonders considering it's made by more people from the original Blizzard North team than Diablo 3 itself.
As you said, it would be silly for me to complain about Diablo 3 without finishing it properly, as in finishing it in all its difficulties. Now that I finished it completely, I can tell you it sucks. You are praising it because you only finished it in Normal mode that's why.
Go finish it in all its difficulties then you will think like the rest of us here, bash the game just like us

Torchlight 2 it's pretty much the same(if you talking about Farming to really get advenge),not saying TL2 didn't do things better then D3.
I still don't beleive anyone claming the game is "shit" but then playing it dozen of hours unless they are masochist,at least your friends don't seems to think that way...
did you finished later difficulties alone or with COOP ?
the game is difficult,no doubt about it. but no one is forcing you to take that diffculties ,it's like saying DMC and Dark Souls suck beacue it has ridiculas difficulty modes,

I finished it only in coop. As I said I couldn't play it alone because I thought it was boring.
The game difficulty was messed up back then, and the classes imbalanced to death, and it still seems to be like it since people still complain about it.
Hmm no Torchlight 2 doesn't force you to farm to death to finally have shitty items and end up going to the Real Money Auction house.

still, it has the advnage you don't need to get higher difficulties in for them.
I do agree however that paying for digital goods is stupid,but is what bound to happen even without it,Blizz at least tried to resolve it,no one forceing anyone to use it,in torchlight 2 people can still sell item without official service,it was like that in Diablo 2.

legendaries should be rare, and not drop one ever hour, but when you get one, it sure as hell should be good for whatever class the item is suited for.
