True , I still had the old PC back then (e6600@3Ghz + Ati 48701GB) and the leaked beta was absolutely unplayable (mostly because of the stuttering) whereas the full game ran pretty good considering the low-spec hardware.
well 4870 wasnt so low-spec hardware.

game runs fine on high settings on my pc, i get avg of 45fps 1920x1200 on high setting. avg 25fps on very high. pc spec i7 920, amd 6950 modded to 6970 settings, 9gb ram.

I was able to get one through their FB page (sometimes FB has a redeeming quality ) I believe it's on going until Nov 9 or until they run out of keys. If i was reading things correctly there are still 108 keys left. This will take you their FB Page

Only at max. The water is bugged. If you turn it down to high or medium then you get smoother frame rates. i get 60+ like that but when water is at max i get like 10-14

This is ALPHA code. Optimization is the last thing that's being done on a title.
