007: Quantum of Solace [crappy port that on pc uses pixel shader 2.0 then 3.0 and misses a shit ton of effects that xbox360 has] and James Bond 007: Blood Stone [good port some didn't like it becasue it played like a Splinter Cell Conviction ]
From Russia with Love is the follow up to Everything Or Nothing, one of the better Bond games. It was the reason I got myself a modded Xbox. I dont know how well its emulated, though. Its also on both NGC and PS2.
In retrospect it isnt that great but back then cinematic games were a novelty and PC had almost none of them.
my god the game is so horrible =( everytime i play a crappy bond game like this a part of my childhood dies.
we wanted to do a letsplay, but it ended up being a 15 minute lets bash the new crappy james bond game =(
There were some very memorable scenes though, but it just seems thats all it is, a badly thrown together excuse to digitalize some of the most memorable bond moments.
The lack of grapical options, and 1920x1080 being a damn upscale... in a pc game.. Inexcusable.Will never touch a eurocom game again

the xbox 1 version can't run on a xbox360 [2008 ,2011 and hacked emu does not work you always get a graphic corruption] , thats why i had to finish the NGC version

The first update is out (I don't have the game myself though.) but I don't know what it does, I would assume it combines a patch and the skyfall DLC content together in one release.

One of the trainer websites (Cheat Happens.) posted a blurb about having updated the trainer for today's patch, also Skyfall should have been released today as it's November 9th.
(Thus since the exe was changed enough to require a trainer update it can't be just a DLC addition but must also contain some form of game patch.)
Further searching on Activision's forums and the Steam forums (And community discussion.) revealed nothing much so I don't know what the update does.
I installed this game on my latop, im running win8 x64 and the game starts fine, some videos first mgm logo, etc, then i press space and shows up "atention" "this game will automatically autosave your progress", etc
I press enter/ space and nothing happens, does the game have some issues with WIN8?
yeah, was watching "golden eye" couple days ago, the movie is still loads of fun , pierce was awesome, the new movies are all bullshit imo, very few action scenes and "comedic moments' which is what i loved about the old ones.
so yeah maybe you can "cure" yourself by watching the movies again, they aged well, so to say.

I press every key of my keyboard and nothing happens.
if its stalling on autosave itcould be having issues with creating the autosave file. make sure you have ownership and full permissions of folders on your PC.
Wasn't there some issue with gamepads and this game?
(It should support them though, maybe you have to set up the input options first if it bugs out when you connect the device or if the device is connected upon the game start.)
(Might have been fixed in the update, I don't have the game myself so I don't know.)

yes its currently unplayable..
tested for 15mins, saw the horrible upscaled graphics and worst mouse accel ever (it feels like analogue stick emulated on mouse)
did the patch fix any of this?
dont see a scene release of it, skyfall dlc is missing as well
The Derby-based developer let go 150 staff last month after a number of console projects fell through. That left just under 50 staff remaining and they were this morning all let go.

This specific game probably didn't kill them (surely it was made on the cheap) but you could argue it didn't save them either.
