i wonder how much it will cost here (israel)..? i guess 500-600$. i will get it when it will be hacked, if ever. i didn't get the wii so to me it will have alot more games then just wii-u games, i always wanted to play wii exclusive games such as metroid zelda mario and i bet there is more good games.
edit: i forgot monster hunter, and the fact that bayonetta 2 and zombie-u are a must have game for me. my only concern is the gamepad aka tablet, it looks not so comfortable. and i guess that most game require the tablet. i wish that a normal controller will work also.

I've seen the previews of the games to be released, but it didn't get my attention (graphics wise), still not be compared to xbox360/PS3... loved Nintendo years ago, especially N64, but now...

Why the hell did Nintendo NOT include that Xbox like controller with the Deluxe version? Spend $350 for Deluxe with no standard controller forcing you to spend an additional $39.99+ for that Xbox like controller. That blows.

And who the hell wants Nintendoland? Why not include New Super Mario U? I freaking hate the way Nintendo does things, seriously. Its so annoying, they do the complete opposite of what people want.

Nice to see Black Ops 2 taking advantage of the Tablet allowing for splitscreen mode to be played on the TV and on the Tablet, fucking great on their part.

This is something that could have been done with Borderlands 2 it could have been amazing on Wii U, but WII U is not even getting Boderlands 2. WTF!!! And no Resident Evil 6 either. I just don't know man, I am not sold on Wii U and for those reasons. Mind you, I bought a Wii first day it came out, and the only thing it served me for, was a fucking dust magnet.

Is anyone planning to get it? Please tell me why? If the system was getting Borderlands 2 and Resident Evil 6, I might have considered getting it, especially since Black Ops 2 might actually be better on Wii U than on PS3 or Xbox because of the Tablet Controller for Splitscreen stuff, I like that.

RE6, BL2, CoD19? You have a shit taste in games anyway - no-one 'CareZ' about your post or your 'hardcore' ideals.

You obviously care, since you took the time to reply to it, and BL2 shit game? Really? Shows how much you know, add something useful to the topic at hand instead of being a fucking fag troll.

Wii U: ‘CPU is less powerful than Xbox 360 & PS3, causes challenges’ – Tecmo

Wii U’s CPU is less powerful than those found in Xbox 360 and PS3, Dynasty Warriors producer Akihiro Suzuki has revealed. The developer has also explained why this causes challenges when developing games for the platform.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Suzuki explained that the Wii U’s CPU is causing his team trouble.

Suzuki said, “One of the weaknesses of the Wii U compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 is the CPU power is a little bit less. So for games in the Warriors series, including Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi, when you have a lot of enemies coming at you at once, the performance tends to be affected because of the CPU. Dealing with that is a challenge.”

“Developing on new hardware in itself was a challenge,2 he added, “and also making that launch date was a challenge. But from a visual standpoint, based on the performance of the Wii U, we knew the game had the capability of having much better graphics than games on PS3 and Xbox 360.”

Suzuki also suggested that Wii U is capable of better visuals than its counterparts, “Make no mistake, from a visual standpoint, it is able to produce better graphics. So our challenge was to make a higher quality graphics. We were able to meet that.”

Wii U CPU specs

The Wii U CPU uses most of the features from the POWER7 architecture, the rumored and leaked specs so far indicate:
4 CPU Cores and 2 MB shared L3 cache
3 GHz clock speed
Multi-threading: 4 threads per core, 16 threads in total
45 nm process
Advanced power savings features and design
256 KB L2 cache per core

The processor of course includes a whole slew of additional features, but the main attribute is the addition of multi-threading: the Wii U CPU can handle up to 16 threads at the same time. Compared to the older Xbox 360 chip, which can only run 6 threads at a time, the new chip is much more capable when it comes to multi-threading and simultaneous executions of code. Production of the Wii U processor will take place at IBM’s facility in New York, USA, while the final console and components will be assembled in China and shipped worldwide.
Wii U CPU power and performance

The power output of the Wii U CPU is debatable at this point, as no clear technical specifications are available. The IBM Power7 architecture is rated at maximum 33 GFLOPS(Giga FLOPS) per core with the full amount of cache available at max clock speed. Per CPU, the maximum performance output is over 260 GFLOPS, albeit this is based on a fully specced out 8 core chip at 4 GHz. Realistically, the Wii U CPU power output could be at around 50 GFLOPS, with 4 cores at 3 GHz. This would make the Wii U CPU over 20 times faster than the old Wii Broadway processor, and twice as fast as the PlayStation 3 Cell processor, and 2.5X as fast as the Xbox 360 chip.

Tecmo BSing at its best

its better to say its a weak CPU then say we don't know for shit how to code in POWER7 architecture

its finally a console that can be compared to a high end PC from 2011 that can do dx10 and finally can output games in 60fps in 1080p without a hitch or slowdown

the thing is now ... this console IS TO POWERFUL for those games we get now Laughing when you have to make a multiplatform game xbox always will win [free pc game when you make a xbox game ] only exclusives will shine and SHOW the systems TRUE POWER ... see PS3 exclusives that mop the floor of any xbox game with its graphics quality

same will be here if Wii U will finally make good games i will buy one ... if they will make good games not another zelda , mario , xyz crap they put out every year

the only thing i heard was that Wii u will play old Wii games and up rez them in quality
