I don't know really... probably these:

Dungeon Siege
Severance
Gothic II

Dungeon Siege is a clear winner actually... used to play it like crazy. Normal. With expansion. Modded. In any possible way. I still have most of the siegelets for it.

I think the only game I have played where all those conditions apply is:

- Super Mario Bros. 3 (friends at school and some local game rental stores asked me to record videos of my playthroughs for them Razz)

I played TES Oblivion and Skyrim for around 200 hours or more but never got close to "obsessed" with any of them.

Deus Ex
Final Fantasy VIII (technically, I've finished all the games in the series - multiple times over - but VIII is my favourite so we'll go with that)
Vampire Bloodlines and Star Wars: KoTOR tied.

Probably others, but these were the first that came to mind.. so they're the most important.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Civ 4
Jagged Alliance 2
Mount&Blade

All heavily modded, of course. The thing with those games is the amazing replay value, I at least never get bored with them. Honorable mentions go to Fallout series (esp. 1, 2 and NV) and Thief series (1 & 2) - couldn't pick one game on either one of those series, but they're god tier. Thief FMs especially are brilliant.

I have to admit that the Hitman games have got very close to obsessing me (still haven't played any of them for even 50 hours) but I resisted cause I needed to finish them in time for the release of Absolution. I might let me go with Absolution though, and try to do every single approach to complete every mission with every possible rating. Or I might as well be back to H2 or Blood Money. We'll see Very Happy

1. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Two most played games, I haven't used any mods at all. So much stuff to do in Morrowind, every time I talked to someone they gave me a quest, couldn't finish them all. One time I even started to fight bears in Oblivion with my bare hands because all other offensive skills were maxed

3. I played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Mount & Blade: Warband more than 100 hrs each but I can't say I am/was obsessed about these two. Also haven't tried mods, and M&B:W have some real good both SP and MP.
