I'm thinking they may skip 13.1.2 and wait for the next imminent patch. Looks like the next one will be a match engine patch, thats what I'm waiting for.

It was the same with the 2012 version, this will be no different crack wise.
**Fuck it. Just bought it @ GMG with trade in games, only paid £16.50, cant be assed with patching crap**

right i know it was the same last year, but this year i smoehow wanna play more than last year... and also the 2012 version didn´t have that much problems and crashes than 2013...

What kinda issues? Apart from a crash every hour (which totally sucks) this edition is the most complete one out of the box imo.

45 hours played and I only have the program crashed error when ive exited the game.
Oh and memory leak or no I went from 4gb to 12gb the other day and same prob.
So maybe take a look at the drivers etc?

I have also +30 hours played with legit, no crashes at all. I would say that quite a ew of these reports "all" over the forums are supposedly from cracked versions . . .

The tech guy on the official forums is always asking to switch from GPU to software mode and requests dxdiag logs. So I assume they suspect problems with GPU drivers. Are you guys on Ati or Nvidia?

Now that I am done with my first season, I believe this is the best one yet. The UI is excellent, there's more info and options in one screen than ever. It feels very intuitive to me. As for the match engine, although I think something is fishy about marking, this is the most realistic ME I have experienced.
I really hope they can figure out what all the reported crashes are about because it's starting to piss me off.

Cant change the match view to 2d from 2d classic on my laptop :S Any reason why this is happening. The option is greyed out. Had no problems with 2011 and 2012

The Norwegian league is as poorly researched as ever, with very little change from last year. Which again changed very little compared to the year before that. It's more or less unplayable and the the teams and leagues are very random, the best players gets sold asap, and does not get replaced. Its lotto who wins the league, the top teams more often than not does not perform, and even sometimes gets relegated. They have had years to work on the minor leagues like Norway, make them more realistic and playable, but they are ignored year after year. One example is my hometowns club, they can't even get simple fact as height and weight right, and while I don't expect a lot of research from a division 1 team in Norway, I expect the little quick guy to be quick and light(not as high as 20, no, but maybe a little bit over 10? 12 maybe?, and not have a pace of 4. It's the most basic stuff they screw up, did they even do any research? Their positioning is also all over the place. I guess their engine just doesn't do minor league very well, so it looks like they almost stopped trying. As my interest for the Premier League has faded the last couple of years, I see no reason to buy this patched 2012 version.
Otherwise the game is Football Manager and as entertaining as ever, one of the series I've spent the most time in, so it's not hate people, I'm just fed up and it's not for me anymore.

Yes the match engine is bugged, they should be fixing this now, hopefully a fix soon  If you just use the 'old commentary view', matches play and do as you have set them, and all your hard work is not wasted. I know, PITA, but great game otherwise with not one single crash so far - 50+ hours

The match engine is not the graphical engine. Even if you don't use the graphical representation, you still use the ME. The ME is the processor to put it simply.
Where did you guys see/read they're working on the ME?

On the SI forum. Patch will hit late next week imho or at the beginning of the next one. I'm still holding out to start proper career save, eh. Some things are just too annoying, like ball behaving like puck on ice in 2D classic or poor marking by central midfielders.

You do know you can post about these things on their forum and a lot of the time the person who supply's the data can sometimes be active and willing to discuss things.

Can you link to the discussion? I've tried looking for it and failed...I want to read what's it all about. I wouldn't want continue playing if there is a serious ME bug. One thing I've noticed is that defenders on man marking just leave their man and wonder off.
