So don't make, or watch, Californian porn? The industry will just create porn elsewhere
It is a bright new morning in America for marriage equality. To think I'd live to see this day...
(From LGBT Equality World-Wide)
Not only did three states approve same sex marriage, but our first openly lesbian senator was elected in WI, and the people of MN said NO to discrimination. I am one happy citizen today!

Gonna be a big undertaking to move the whole San Fernando valley out of the county.
My point is, California isn't the only state so if one state implements a law requiring pornographic actors to wear condoms, and you don't want to, then simply move the filming to another state

You'd think that, right? Except... California and New Hampshire are the ONLY states where porn production (that is, paying someone to perform in an adult film) is actually legal. Now of course there's smaller/independent producers throughout the country, but all the industry heavyweights have stayed in California just for this reason. San Fernando valley alone produces something like 90% of all legally distributed adult films in the US.
Now afaik this only affects the LA county area, not the whole state of California, but that's still really a big deal if they have to move away from LA.
Ok... that I didn't know Sorry about that and thanks for the clarification
Yeah, just found out about it the other day when I was reading the news. It's 2012 and the good ol' puritan values are still alive and well in the US of A.
Some remark, they have spent 6 billion dollars on all the elections and ended pretty much the same.
That's a drop in the sea. They spend eleventy bazilions on military and that leads to nothing, too
Thats always confused me, how some candidates can both say
"We do NOT support spending lots of money to help the poor of our country"
while also saying
"We DO support spending lot of money to shoot at the poor of OTHER countries"
So spending money to shoot at strangers = good, but spending that same money to help our own = bad?

Well if we would stop trying to kill them, they MIGHT not charge us so much for the oil.
Its expensive to fund fighting the guys you are selling the oil to.
I mean its more complicated than that.
But im sure there is some idiocy in it..
We want the oil so we attack them, then they sell us the oil to fund the fight they are in with us.
Soo..in a way isnt fighting them AND buying that oil only supplying them money to fight us with?
Sort of like if I wanted my neighbors peaches off his tree, and had to fight him for them...but then to get the peaches I need, I start buying the peaches while at war with him..so he can buy more stuff to defend me off them while hiking up the prices of them to get more stuff.

only once, I think. The republicans will probably take the next one...
Basically though, the republicans will have to seriously change their platform in the next 4 years to have any chance of doing that. Romney did as well as any republican has done in probably seventy years in the white over-forty demographic -- a steadily shrinking demographic -- and still got beaten. If they don't start doing shit like dropping insane issues like abortion, marijuana, birth control, hatred of immigration, they're going to get crushed by the growing minority and single-women demographics that vote for the democrats.
No one will ever win with the kind of campaign and issues that Mitt Romney ran with again. Not unless something happens to seriously change the American population.
