Every since Half-Life2 everyone thinks they fucking know what an engine is. Do yourselves all a fucking favor and stop using the term, you don't know shit.

This is not an engine, this is called developer middleware.

yeah, fluid demo was cool but unimpressed with 'large scale destruction' demo as it was slow and at low res when it had to deal with many objects. Hope it gets a lot better.

Metal bending and localised damage! yes!!! This is what games really lack - real damage to objects. HL2's wood planks just randomly get smaller and F.E.A.R. uses an interesting technique with parallax mapping but both lack the feel and effects of REAL damage - it's one of the things I look forward to in post next-gen games. Definately an engine to keep an eye on. Peace,
