Ill let it go for a few months, then maybe its playable.
I dont mind a few bugs, but CTD bugs are just a little too much. |
Legit or cracked?

I don´t think legit copies are geting many if any CTD´s, all these problems are derived from a faulty crack, thats it.

The only crash i got since i have the legit version is when i try to quit the game.... but its probably a small memory leak or so since the game is running days after eachother

I had the same thing with 2012, a crash when you quit. Wasn't causing any problems though.

Lot´s of stuff provoking crashes, staff meetings, delegating responsabilities, sometimes training also crashes.
We just need to wait for a working crack.

Just to verify that it's probably crack related - I have had no crash issues what so ever with the legit version and I have been playing it on two different computers since the first day of the beta.

Ya no problems here with me non yarr version. I didnt really play FM2012 much and my love with this franchise has been a little stale the last couple of years. So when I started FM up and found my self playing Xcom after a couple of hours I was miffed.
But now I am back on track with a fun Gladbach save, no money, semi good players right now, but lots of potential, and still playing Champions League
I play a 4-3-3 with high a lone poacher and two inside forwards on the wings and the wings are tearing it up! My best player is Sidney Sam (great name to boot), sadly only on loan but he makes killer runs. And now its winter time so I can finally get some much needed bakup (sold alot of high salary players for good money) so my grandpa of an left full back can get some rest. Bought alot of future stars and Andreas Cornelius from my hometown is already in fierce combat over the lone striker spot.
Didnt make it past AC Milan and Zenit, but I am now in the europa league with 2 matches against Liverpool. So still a little european fun. In the league I am 3, had an awful start, but now even when I lose my team has had most shots on goal etc. And the board are delighted.
How are your games going?
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

They can hardly reinvent the genre, as with all sports games. The only thing they can do is tweak and add some minor features.

That's what FIFA Manager has. What FIFA Manager doesn't have, it's a team management, contract management and transfers management at the level of Football Manager.
A long time ago, was a series that succesfully combined those elements. It was Gremlin's Premier Manager. Damn, i miss that company...

Yeah, PM 99 was a masterpiece. Nothing came near it, afterwards. As a surrogate, TCM 2003-2004 were decent, while Football Manager brought a part of the old PM, but not the other.

My first footbal manager was Championship Manager 2. Kept me 'till i discovered Premier Manager series in '97. Played PM 99 quite a bit. Next on my list were TCM 2003-2004. Now is a tie between FIFA Manager and Football Manager. When i want something serious i take the later.

I started with first Premier Manager. It was already very dated when I got it as a gift in one of those old 12+ games boxes and it was by far the least attractive game in the box. I didn't even touch it for couple of months, I finally got tired of all the crap that was in there and had nothing to play so I finally tried it and got myself completely addicted.
After that I tried to get current PM, but no pirate and no store even knew what I was talking about (Championship Manager? What's that? Ah, I see, you want FIFA!), In the end I found Championship Manager 2 somewhere, not what I was looking for, but it turned to be even better and I've been playing the series since. I bought many, pirated many, played some for whole seasons, got completely bored of them for years, anxiously waited for delayed CM 4, got absolutely mad over bugridden CM 4, but I always at least tried them.
I think I played last one too much, so I don't have huge need this year, still to me this is the best game series ever made.

I'm really curious what Square will decide to do with Championship Manager series. So far, they seem that they'll just sit on the series.
