Unknown which FW this works on. Obviously I'm hoping it works on 5.50 GEN-D4/Prometheus .. but I doubt it.

~edit~

So far confirmed working on 6.35PRO. I just discovered that 6.35-B works on PSP1k, so I might try that --- if nobody confirms that FFIV-Collection works on 5.50-GEN/PROM

~edit~

I can personally confirm that this, and Dissidia 012 Duodecim, work perfectly on 5.50GEN-D with the Prometheus 4 addon. ROCK ON, BABY!

Finally got around to put this on the psp and wow, now I remember why I love the psp so much.

Crisp screen with nice vibrant colors makes justice to this nice gem of a game.

Very nice package. Do I dare to ask for VI?

Personally I much rather have redone 2d than ds 3d version.

Agreed completely. The visuals in this remake are fabulous, really shocking compared to the original, and I much prefer the 2D remake style to the 3D one. I wouldn't hold your breath on getting VI though bud.... SE seem to have a blind-spot where that game is concerned.

As for this game; I strongly recommend getting the official EU/US version, the JP release (despite being 100% English) is INSANELY DIFFICULT. It makes the original game look like Mystic Quest, it really does, because this is nuts hard.

Seriously what a piece of shit game.

Wife wanted me to go take shower with her, and I told her I was just going to find save place, that has been located every now in awhile during the whole game. But not now 25 hours in, 2nd time on moon.

Fucking slashing my way thru for hours it feels like and then I meet a mini boss guy that drops doom on my whole team. Give him behemut (sp?) and what not and whole team dies. After leveling them way beyond 70, getting tons of important gear and up to level 8 at tower or whatever. No save points!

Rage!

edit:oh and I think I play the jp-version, since it has jap language in beginning when starting up the game.

I agree, the lack of save points in RPGs is fucking infuriating! At least with the PSP though, you could always use the Sleep/Resume function -- or use CWCheat and the "Save Anywhere" code (US version only)

Make your own save points Very Happy

Doesn't FF3 on the Iphone have a quicksave option that lets you resume the game when you quit it? Then shouldn't this also have that option?
It won't make a difference when dying, but it still is something...

Figured I'd bump this to ask for some help on my xxxteenth playthrough Very Happy Does anyone have a save file (ULUS version, please) after the Tower of Zot? I've been playing it on JPCSP and, up until now, it was absolutely fine .. no gameplay issues whatsoever .. but now it crashes the instant I beat Barbariccia (The Lord of Wind) at the end of the Tower of Zot. I can't progress any further because of this bullshit Sad

So if anyone has a save file from there, or as close as possible afterwards, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks!
