Did to me, but I admit instanced horde rush games isnt my vibe.
I free REALLY bad, a friend bought it for me full price because he really likes it, and by character level 5 which took like 45 minutes, trying to like it, I thought "This isnt for me" and have not launched it since.
Too many timesync cutscenes before and after each match, it feels I spend as much time wait for or waiting after a game as I do in the actual gameplay, the streetfighter like combos to do specials is annoying as hell to me. And the 10 minute per match gameplay loop is monotonously bland: Land, go in a direction shooting things, get to point, hit extract button, shoot things while waiting for the extract timesync to elapse, leave. Repeat.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

doesnt it become super repetitive ? watched some streams and people playing alone really where just doing same shit over n over
I played it nonstop till I hit level 30 and took a break and have not really felt the need to jump back into the game in weeks. Even the Mech addition and new planet hazards are something I have not tried but do not really feel like it is something I am missing out on. The game kind of sucks solo and maybe if I had some friends that owned the game to play with it might be different, but I was just grouping with random people and running a bunch of missions with them each day for a couple of hours at a time.

this game needs more challenges and more things to do

Why is this game even so popular?
That's the problem with every MP game where you HAVE to play with a small squad (games with large teams of 30+ never suffer from this) - you get pockets of people that expect everyone to "meta" every single little thing for maximum efficiency and to "play right". That's why games like this, WH40K Darktide, etc, if you're not playing from the very beginning, or you take a break for a few weeks, it's just not worth getting into.
Unless you have a dedicated pool of friends to play this with, you won't have a good time.
Game developers, on the other hand, LOVE this formula - because they get to sell 4x the copies they would have otherwise.

Agree on toxicity (and just mindless idiots in general) in this game, disagree about Darktide. Just started playing the latter again after taking almost a year's break, and the community is absolutely decent, at least up to Heretic difficulty. And I do not see myself advancing any higher anyway, as it's just way too sweaty for no reason.
