Hey, quick question, are the Saves located on Steam Cloud for this game? if not, well I forgot to back them up when I did the format.

They're located in the Steam\steamapps\common\SleepingDogs\Data\ folder.
Good thing is you don't need any saves for this story DLC, nor would they have any influence over it whatsoever.

Yep, they're stored in the game folder. Reminds me of Windows 98 era. I was really pissed when I removed the game and installed it now only to see all my saves are gone.

Are you sure base LumaEmu version is not working on win8 in the first place? Maybe Steam006 fixed it. You can ask JBeckman to test if he wants to. He is on Win8

Interesting. I searched the thread in rin and found one steam006 post where he posted. New LumaEmu. And there is no budhha.dll in it. So guess that will work. Will send it as PM there.

but i dont think it will work without buddha file -because Sleeping Dogs exe still have CEG and even lumaemu needs buddha.dll file to emulate the CEG functions

Maybe he imported it somehow. Its running for me on win7 so guess there is no problem with the CEG.

^^I don't see Ghost Pig Pack on my steam copy..17 .dat files so far.
also game working fine on Windows 8.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Took me 3 hours (i've completed both main and side missions)
It's awesome and for 3.75$ (GMG with 25% off code) it's a good deal!
