It would probably get somewhere between 1 and 2, mostly because of lack of music during the racing, lack of explosions, adrenaline jumps through bilboards.. The last 2 ones have the right score, but mostly the last one. I reckon I could enjoy this for a bit if it would just run properly, but yeah, it really doesn't have much going for it to make it that good. Still, for once the NFS franchise is going into the right direction (not taking the Shift games into account here), but I guess that doesn't say much since pretty much anything is better than The Run... So far, i'd give it 6/10 If they could fix the optimisation, and fix the handling just a little bit, it could be a 7.5 or even 8/10 from me, which is pretty decent for a racing game like this.. Pathetic AI is pathetic beyond repair. Especially obvious during Most Wanted races. The amount of acceleration the opponent receives after being taken down by me in order to subsequently run past me is ludicrous. Doesn't matter if they've hit an oncoming-traffic car, or gotten smashed by a cop as well, they easily catch up on me, even managing to get pretty much ahead of me. Add to that that when in mutual car ramming, I'm mainly the one being affected (not to mention the power the opponent has - even if I were to be driving а death star, I wouldn't be able to resist its impact on me ). And, to top it all off, the coppers seem to be teleporting almost always around me while racing. Plus, in regular races (laps or distance), the other cars seem to be constantly driving in a long well-maintained row. Only when I try overtaking someone, do they attempt to knock me over and keep their position intact.

If you look from a PC gamer perspective, " dumped" it's also correct. The lack of mouse action in the menus, the retarded keymapping and the fact that it's a lot more recommended to play with a derpbox controller, rather than use your usual keyboards. But we know that all the big publishers/developers "dumped" us since the early 2000's. All in favor of the new (de)generation of derp players that have the attention span of a fly (actually that's insulting to the flies...they do have a better and bigger attention span).

The thing is... i played with xbox 360 controller and that sucks BIG TIME. Shitty response and handling and braking works like crap. It Worked better with keyboard, i think they messed something up with controller support.

I've played the game some more. I started playing it today and I sort of kept playing even though I always felt there are still things that annoy me about it. I know the driving model still has the same style as all the NFS games starting with MW, but it's the best at it. And these upgrades change quite a lot the way the cars feel. I still think it's a 6-7/10 game because of the problems it has. The biggest one and the one that really needs to get fixed is the very poor performance. From what I understand there are quite a lot that have this.
