obama will get the smart votes.
religion wins
a vote against romney is a vote against god. lol.

would love to see obama win. but if romney wins i fear shit will hit the fan.
serious shit. stinky sticky shit. Crying or Very sad

john stewart is really taking it to heart. so is colbert. and many other talk show entertainers. it's going to be fun if romney wins.

Next president gets to appoint 1 or 2 supreme court justices at a minimum, so yeah, Romney winning will fuck things up for a while...

between romney and ryan, not sure which of them is the bigger douchebag Sad

Eh, Roe v Wade has been law of the land for years now, and 60% of the country is pro choice. Even if Romney wins, and appoints pro life judges, I doubt they'd be crazy enough to strike the law down.

That being said, Romney has flip flopped through almost every issue in the last few weeks, so there's no telling what kind of shit he'll pull if he's elected.

But then again, Obama failed his to keep his promises from the first campaign, so he's not that much better...

Regardless of who wins, I doubt foreign policy will change. Israel will still be supported in everything and democracy will be exported as much as possible.

R v W wasn't what I was thinking of, rather everything new. For example, IF there ended up a real challenge to the US patent system that went through the courts would you rather old ass business friendly repugs with the balance?

as for whether or not Obama deserves another term, voting for the 2nd worse isn't exactly democracy IMO. he has been a shit president, also I'm pretty sure the things I think he did wrong aren't the same as the usual retard uhmericans thing he did wrong.

In the USA things have been fucked up for a while already.

Ryan is a religious idiot, Romney is pragmatic, but there is no telling what Romney is going to do. His record shows that he does what needs to be done to achieve a certain goal.

@nouseforaname:
Yeah, I agree. And along with patents, right to privacy and free speech will also come up in the future.

I'd actually like to see Obama win, because at this point, any criticism is labeled racism in the media. I want him to have a second term so that he has more chances to fuck up.

His liberalism is just a bad coat of paint. Renewing the Patriot Act, signing the NDAA, increased drone strikes, signing executive orders. He's Bush 2.0 with a tan.

Do you think anyone else would do better in the same situation? I actually think the situation would have been worse if Obama wasn't elected. And it would be really weird if people would vote for romney because of that... Since they should realise that it could actually go worse instead of better with someone else.

Btw don't the republicans have brighter people? Late candidates I felt like they never had any real plans if they would be elected. Just "let's say what the people want to hear".

Not really, the republican of the last 10 or so years have been doing the "we have no real good points to stand on, so lets go with the really NOISY ones, that gets people arguing..that way if they dont vote for us for our plans, they will at least vote for us on the extremist views we claim is 'unamerican' not to have. So all the blindly patriotic narrow minded people will go 'holy hell im AMERICAN, im supporting the guy that saying being like him is the american way!"

I mean I dont like either party myself..but Ive never liked the republicans at all.

Seems they like to play on the fears, religious bigotry, and 'uhmerika!' topics a LOT more than the others.

At least the democrats will play to you like you are smart, then lie to you.
the republicans play on the "they are too stupid to realize..just scare them, anger them about things, tell them the other side thinks they are unamerican..then reel them in like fish"

They remind me of the CEO of any company, shake your hand, tell you your doing a fine job..then laugh about how little they pay you, and how if they need to fire someone you are the first on the list, because your are poor anyway...who cares if poor people get fired.

And thats romney in a nutshell, the CEO with $50 smile, $200 haircut..smiling at you while telling you hes going to fix everything...and when he gets behind closed doors, he fixes everything by firing the lowest payed people to keep the bottom line in the black and calls it a success for the business because the chairmen got normal bonuses, and stockholders didn't loose any money in the end.

I'm sure Romney won't win. Certainly not because of polls (I never tend to trust these polls: possible bias by the maker of the polls, small sample size, etc.).

No we won't..

I just won't bother writing anything that takes more than 20 seconds for someone who makes a statement such as that.

That statement is along the lines of the classic "you might not believe in god, but god believes in you"..

That statement is idiocy defined, there's nothing else that can be added to such blatant stupidity contained in less than 10 words.

romney and obama are the same thing, both pander to their voters, obama makes alot of sense if you only go by his speeches, then you see his policies and he is no different than presidents of the past 30 years. 3% tax on the rich and gay marriage.... biggest issues the states face atm, thats about as much choice there is.

Obama will win the electoral vote. Romney was looking like he might win the popular vote, although that is becoming less and less likely and is irrelevant anyway.

It would be fun to see the opposite of Bush v Gore, though.

Obama will win, yes, the point was that there is nothing *smart* about it.

Only idiots vote, and only retards would vote for either one of those two choices.

Maybe he means obama will get the educated votes? maybe smart wasnt the right word...

educated as in knowing the lesser of 2 evils.
Ronmey just oozes that 'used car dealer' persona, playing on the narrow sighted peoples idea of "the world is changing, and that scared and frightens me!", the whole thing of
"grab your gun, your flag, and your abortion protest signs and follow me because bigotry is more american than freedom!"

At least that's how I read what he wrote...because Ronmey is more insulting to intelligent people than Obama is. They both might lie to you about what they are going to do. But at least one of them acts like you made it out of the 4th grade. Romney gives off the feeling he thinks there is 2 types of people in the US, the rich smart people...then the peasant idiots that will follow him because they are too stupid to decide things on their own.

Not even educated, you're educated, I'm educated, an Obama follower is not educated, at the very least he's an eloquent imbecile.

Thats what i mean, hes not pandering to the fears of the 1800's that romney is..At least hes lying about current real issues..not fears of the religious.

Like gay people, fear of losing your gun, and scared women can have a voice... Thats the republicans standpoint pretty much this election, and making sure none of that happens..(well at least what they are preaching on to get elected).
Without stereotyping a group...I cant think of a romney supporter without thinking of a rich guy scared of loosing his money, or an uneducated redneck that hears "Women having a choice, and they taking me guns??? FUCK NO..RONMEY 2012!"
